Top class B&B

Lovely B&B, comfortable and clean room, superb breakfast, welcoming and friendly owner with good local knowledge and good suggestions and recommendations. I have no hesitation in recommending Stonehaven, and would most assuredly book Stonehaven without hesitation for another visit to Ennis.

Found it OK

We found the owner Marie very helpful and friendly we were about 15 minute walked from the town of Ennis Marie gave us a lift to the the city and to the railway station which was very kind of her
In relation to the room the bed was comfortable and we were provided with tea and coffee in our room disappointed with the breakfast as I taught we would be getting a cooked breakfast but just orange juice, cheese and ham, fruit , and toast tea and coffee.

No full Irish but very good choice of breakfast

This was the only B&B that we stayed in that didn't offer a full Irish, but the breakfast was still very good - you can get scrambled eggs, and the cold part of the breakfast is not just a measly continental affair, but there's also cheese and cold meats - so it was actually one of the better breakfasts we had on our round trip. Our room was quite big and the noise from the road wasn't as loud as we'd initally thought it would be.

Good Budget B & B

Comfortable and safe, you can walk to the old town and restaurants from this B & B. The host is friendly and helpful. This is a budget B & B with smaller rooms (with ensuite), continental breakfast only (but lots of cold choices) and on a fairly busy street. For a one night stop it was just fine.
