Relaxing days and evenings by the sea
Very comfortable, Kids loved the pool and deserted beach, soft sand, waves to body surf, clean. nice sunset with Krakatau in the distance, plenty of seating areas and spacious bedrooms. Lots of food options close by. Attentative staff,

Run-down property, horrible staff with prices of a 4* hotel
I think the villa used to be a nice one but it is now 20 years old, pooely managed and maintained. I booked through Agoda and they place the negative reviews at the bottom, so prospective clients don't read them.
1.They were inflexible with checkin and out, although they are nearly empty on weekdays. There was no outside toilet except of a dirty Asian toilet. The staff couldn't wait until I checked out although it was 11.30 and I had a searing headache.
2.The villa was 20 years old and poorly maintained. The water in the bathroom didn't work and lights didn't all work. The safety box didn't work, they had no spare key and the rooms were not cleaned when the guest wasn't there. Poorly communicated.
3.The staff was unprofessional and unfriendly. I called them because the fridge was smelly. The owner ordered to switch off the fridge in the room on weekdays without opening the door. As a result it was infested by mold. Tge staff 'cleaned' the smelly fridge with a tissue
4.The owner also ordered to switch off the aircon in the dining room. The building was old, so the problem with the smell was worse.
5.The final straw came however, as one of those uneducated boys said I was too old to drive. Uneducated, no English and not even proper Indonesian.
6.The hotel has the same price as one of the best 4* hotels in the area. By no means is the expensive price justified for such a poorly maintained and managed old property

Worst place I’ve been -Tripadvisor rating needs adjustment
This was the worst experience I had in Aisia and I have been living in Asia for 30 years. No sense for service, actually no service at all. And this is not COVID-linked.... unskilled staff who have no service oriented approach. And the price wit 1.8-2 million Rp waaaay overpriced. For this price I can get a 5 star Hotelroom in HuaHin in Thailand with waaaaay better service and trained staff. Overall this hotel is a trap and I advise everyone to avoid it if you want to get something for your money. Don’t even think of staying there !!! The homepage is a fraud, it doesn’t reflect the reality at all. See the pictures attached. The owner is crook for what he offers.

Nice place, would stay again.
We stayed during the co-vid pandemic with rising numbers in Indonesia. The place and location was nice, although we were disappointed with safety protocols.
Aside from safety (listed below), the grounds were nice. The beach is on the left side of the resort and was relatively empty without any locals pressuring you to buy anything which was nice. Waves were present but not crazy big, fun and safe for kids (our 7 year olds LOVED it). The room was gorgeous and clean, we really liked the size and style. Room has a fridge but no microwave (was available in the breakfast room).
Co-vid 19 related:
*All staff were not wearing masks, even when serving guests at breakfast. 2 people came into our room to make up the couch bed and did not wear masks. It was very uncomfortable for us.
Also, They are still serving a buffet breakfast and encouraging clients to mix in the breakfast room. I had to remind staff that this was not safe and to go put on a mask. They should be doing more to keep people distant, including serving made to order breakfast. We were not happy with an indoor buffet (no ventilation in the room). It was not safe.

Best Villa in Anyer
Its a nice villa in Anyer. Or perhaps i can say this is the best when you need to relax nobody around, its feel like your own villa.
Next to public beach, but when i come on vasting days the beach is empty, just like private beach.
The room is big enough, nice bathroom.
You can bring your own food to cook in the hall.
