The best hotel in Ubud with jungle views
This so stunning beautiful hotel with jungle views it’s unbelievable swimming pool so beautiful,clean ,I can hear sound of water flowing in the river,jungle views make feel so comfy and calming,air conditioning cooler so fast,wifi running so fast,water heather running hot so quick as well and all the staff so nice and friendly and also they help me to take scooter for me rent as well,the laundry is cheep
And my room so beautiful and I have yummy breakfast every single morning and my favorite one is fluffy pancake it’s so good,definitely I be back there 100/10 very recommended

A really stylish little place, 25 min walk from Ubud centre, so well positioned. Service is let down by being based on WhatsApp and there’s no food options in-house.

A hidden gem, tranquil oasis!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Civyt, basking in the serene and comfortable atmosphere. Our spacious room was immaculately clean and tastefully appointed, complete with modern amenities. Thoughtful touches, such as freshly baked cookies, made us feel pampered and at home.
The picturesque pool, nestled among lush tropical trees, was a tranquil oasis, conveniently located just steps from the dining area where delicious breakfasts were served.
The Civyt exceeded our expectations, offering the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and warm hospitality. Kudos to Gary and his team!!

Wow just wow
5/5 Stars - Fair Dinkum, The Civyt's a Ripper!
"Checked ourselves into The Civyt for a couple of nights and it was bloody brilliant! Rooms were awesome. Pool was ridiculously serene and brekky was amazing and some top-notch grub. But what really made it was the little things that they paid attention too such as baked treats. OMG you have never been in a hotel that does home made baked treats and as for the crew – owner, manager, and staff were absolute legends, makin' us feel like part of the fam. Genuine, down-to-earth, and happy to lend a hand. Can't recommend The Civyt enough, mate! Good on 'em!"

Fantastic stay
I absolutely loved the Civyt, so much so that I tried to extend my booking but they were full. It's fairly new and so there aren't that many reviews online, but I can assure you that it's a fantastic place to stay. It has an industrial/modern vibe, and is clean with cosy decor and wonderful staff.
On check-in you may need help with your luggage as cars can't take you right to the front of the property. They have to drop you at the end of the road and then there's a path that loops round to the reception area. There are then a couple of flights of stairs down to the rooms from there too, but the staff were so wonderful and took care of my bags for me so it wasn't a problem! You have your own little patio that overlooks the pool area, a comfy bed with good quality linen, and a great shower. The room has lots to offer including a Nespresso machine, wireless speaker and smart tv. You can order breakfast for 80,000 IDR the night before if required. I also got a full bag of laundry done for about 50,000 IDR.
There's no on-site restaurant so I used grab for food if I was staying at the hotel, but there are a few things within walking distance too. There's a shop for drinks/food/essentials across the road too (2 min). Right now they're doing construction to add 3 more rooms to the property, and the noise didn't really bother me, but it's worth knowing that they'll be doing that for another couple of weeks. The owner says they'll be done at the start of May.
Please give this place a try if you're looking for somewhere to stay in Ubud. I've stayed in over a dozen hotels/guesthouses in Indonesia over the last few years, ranging from £10 - £450 a night, and this was one of my favourites.
