Beautiful and Peaceful Stay – Perfect for Visiting Ijen Volcano

We stayed at Bangsring Breeze as a base for our early morning excursion to the Ijen volcano, and it exceeded all expectations. The resort is set in a stunning tropical garden, full of peace and natural beauty — a perfect place to relax before or after a long hike.
Our room was spacious and elegant, with a lovely open-air bathroom that made the experience feel even more special. The pool area was charming, and during our stay it was very quiet, making it feel like a private retreat.
The breakfast was excellent, with everything freshly made to order and beautifully presented. Dinner was also very good — tasty, well-prepared, and served in a relaxed setting. One fun moment: we finished their stock of Bintang beer, but the staff quickly went out to get more for us — a great example of their thoughtful service!
The only downside was the sound of the nearby mosque, which could be heard clearly, especially in the early morning. This is common in many parts of Indonesia, but it’s good to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper.
Overall, we loved our stay here. Bangsring Breeze is a hidden gem — ideal for travelers seeking a comfortable, quiet base near Ijen, with beautiful surroundings, warm service, and excellent food.

Mei, the lady in charge, is the best host in 25 years of travel and I am not easy to statist but she is absolutely amazing, efficient, nice and hardworking

I have travelled the world for more than 25 years both for work and leisure, Mei is THE best host ever. I can’t list all the things she made for us but from ferry booking, to managing the 8 people staff in a perfectly professional way, to giving us advices to tour around or simply find a scooter, everything was amazing. The location, the place, the charm and comfort of the villa is superb and there are so many things to do around. Again Mei, thank you so much for everything, we hope to come back soon

Ijen visit

We had a wonderful stay at Bangsring Breeze. The property is peaceful, beautifully landscaped and surrounded by nature.

This is a gorgeous boutique hotel -- it felt like an oasis to us. The rooms are very spacious and many of them are their own little bungalow. The hotel was clearly set up by someone who had passion for this; the detailing and decorations are very tasteful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. When the main ferry service had terrible delays due to an incident, the manager, Mey, chartered a boat for us and arranged for a car in Bali to get us to our destination. The food at the hotel was very good too. Well worth a stay if you are in the area!
