loved this hostel! pool was perfect for tanning next to and swimming, lounge areas and bean bags for chilling out, two beers for 50k during happy hour! lovely staff, close to all the action too and rooms have blinds for the beds, also water pressure is brilliant x

Formal report filed with Tourist Police regarding fraud and safety violations

We paid a high price for what was advertised as a premium hostel, but we were forced into a basement room that resembled a prison cell. The room was uninhabitable due to extensive black mold and a complete lack of ventilation and emergency exits, posing a severe fire hazard.
The management showed an incredible level of stubbornness and unprofessionalism. Instead of addressing the health hazards, they refused a refund and attempted to intimidate us. A staff member even occupied our bed during the dispute to prevent a fair negotiation.
Due to their refusal to cooperate, the Tourist Police (Polisi Pariwisata) have been formally involved. We have provided the authorities with audio recordings of the staff’s confessions and photographic evidence of the room’s condition. Criminal fraud reports and health code violation filings are now in progress.
Because of the management's actions, they are now facing significantly higher financial claims, including compensation for emergency transport and administrative penalties. This matter is no longer a private dispute but a legal one. Avoid this establishment at all costs to ensure your safety and financial security!!!!!

POLICE REPORT FILED: Fraudulent basement rooms and total refund refusal

Do not book this hostel. We were charged a high price for a room that turned out to be a windowless basement cell. The conditions were hazardous: the walls were covered in toxic black mold, there was no ventilation, and the room was a clear fire trap with no emergency exits. It was the worst room I have ever seen in my life.
The biggest problem is the management. They are incredibly stubborn and refused to provide a refund, even after we showed them the health hazards. The situation escalated to the point where a staff member sat on our bed to intimidate us. We have audio recordings of the staff admitting to the fraudulent conditions, yet management still refuses to return our money.
Because of their dishonesty, we have involved the Tourist Police (Polisi Pariwisata) and filed formal complaints regarding health and safety violations. We are now seeking a much higher amount in damages, including emergency transport costs.
Avoid this place at all costs. This is not just a bad hostel; it is a dangerous scam.

⚠️ WARNING: STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! FRAUD & HEALTH HAZARDS ⚠️

This place is not a hostel; it is a nightmare. We booked a room and were given a windowless basement cell that felt like a prison, filled with toxic black mold and no ventilation—a massive fire hazard!
When we immediately rejected the room, the management refused a refund. The situation escalated to the point where their receptionist actually SAT ON OUR BED to intimidate us and block us from leaving/negotiating fairly (I have photo/video evidence of this!). Their excuse? They claimed we "used the bed" after only 30 minutes of dispute.
We tried to find a professional solution, but the management is stubborn and deceptive. As a result:
The Tourist Police (Polisi Pariwisata) has been formally involved.
Reports regarding Fire Safety violations and Health Code breaches (Black Mold) have been filed with Bali authorities.
A fraud report has been sent to our bank/Mastercard to flag their merchant account.
They could have settled this easily, but now they will face the legal and public consequences. Save your money, your health, and your safety. DO NOT BOOK HERE! There are plenty of honest places in Bali—this is NOT one of them

Great stay.

Great hostel for a quieter more chill stay. Coffee and breakfast can be bought on site at a decent price. Social aspect is more tame. Pool is great.
