Amazing Stay

Amazing hotel with cheap rates. One of the oldest hotels. Very popular. Staffs told that even celebrities used to stay here in old days. The hotel is basic. Not much facilities. No lift and wifi. TV, Geyser, AC available. The staffs are friendly. Decent hotel. It is definitely a value for money.

Good Budget hotel

I was traveling with my family to Kanyakumari took a halt at Trivandrum. Good Clean rooms Flooring of the rooms are old came to know that its a very old hotel. good restaurant and really good food.

Hotel Amritha - Average rooms, great for F&B

Hotel Amritha is one of the earliest hotels in the city of Trivandrum. The property hasn't been modernized and therefore, the rooms still give a feel of the traditional style found in earlier hotels. Large rooms, big bathrooms, a statue in the front etc. I had stayed for a day in one of the rooms and liked it only for its classic style. Not for someone who is looking for a cozy, modern room with all amenities. Mostly occupied by crew of movie production houses, this is mostly occupied by transit travelers.
What I want to highlight more here, is the restaurant. Their restaurant offers one of the best options for all kinds of food. South Indian lunch is awesome and equally good is the Chiense, Conti and Indian varieties of dishes. The staff is very courteous and service is exceptional. Again, the old style dimly lit dining room with lean chairs and some soft music. Air conditioned, it is and close to their bar. Drinks is served inside the restaurant only if you are visiting with family. Its a homely ambiance over all. The captain, Mr. Prabhakaran is a well mannered and matured gentleman and knows clearly what he does.
A must visit hotel for its restaurant.
