Best staff in Patnem!

Me and my girlfriend spent 10 days at home. We felt welcome from the moment We arrived. Home is a beautiful property facing the Beach. Good food (try the fish tikka), great coffee and drinks made by Ruby and excellent service by the lovely staff. A special Thanks to Ravi, Nitin and the rest of the Staff that made ur feel like home. We will come back next time We Are in Patnem. Peach and love from Norway!

New management has ruined this place

Such a shame, this was a really chill, relaxing place when it was run by an Indian family, but they have leased the beachside rooms to a foreigner, who clearly has no interest in customer service and is just trying to squeeze every last rupee. I booked the room I’ve been staying in for more than a decade, despite the room price having tripled due to “upgrades”, and said I was happy to pay the higher price. But on arrival, I was told the room I booked was not available and was shunted into a room half the size with no natural daylight, but charged at the same high price. When I complained and said I would mention the rude treatment in my review, the new manager became threatening and told me to move out. The “upgrades” are nothing special – he’s had the rooms painted, put in AC units (not needed in winter) and a few pieces of cheap furniture. Beds are rock hard, you have to run the water 30 minutes before it heats up and the shower is a trickle. When the Indian family managed this place, it had charm, character and wonderful service. It has none of those things now. The restarant staff are still great, but the new manager has all the charm, grace and customer service skills of a gangster. Do not come here as a solo, female traveller as you will be treated like a second class citizen and will not feel safe. Hopefully one day the Indian family will take the rooms back.

Lovely atmosphere with free sun beds as well

A tuktuk rise from Agonda beach. On the right hand side of the beach. A lovely restaurant with lots of sun loungers at the front. We have some Indian tapas for lunch the chilli squid and chicken wings were delicious. I had a lovely Maitai and we lazed on the beach till sunset. Very welcoming and a bit less busy than its neighbour Zest.

Serviceminded and personal staff. Good food, great view

Cosy restaurant at the beach. Food is european inspired and good, fruitlassi and fresh juices are great and they have nice drinks as well. I loved the Pina colada.
Restaurant and guesthouse/hotel is separate owners. I do not know about the rooms.

Great place to eat

Wow! Met friends from the UK for Christmas lunch at Home, expertly provided by Joe and his team. We had an amazing day, great food and traditional roast dinner with yorkshires!! loved the choc brownie, gorgeous weather, disco what a way to celebrate Christmas , thank you.
