Our stay at Sur La Mer was truly unforgettable and stands out as one of the most warm and enriching hospitality experiences we’ve had.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth that instantly made us feel at ease. The hospitality here goes far beyond the usual—it feels personal, thoughtful, and deeply sincere. The proprietor Mr Verman took the time to engage with us, sharing stories and experiences that turned our stay into something far more meaningful than just a getaway.
The property itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly designed for relaxation. Every space felt carefully curated, with a comforting blend of elegance and homely charm. Our room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly inviting—exactly what you hope for when you want to unwind and disconnect.
One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the food. The steak, in particular, was exceptional—perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and easily one of the best we’ve had. Every meal felt like a special experience, not just in taste but in the care and effort behind it.
What touched us the most, however, was the kindness shown towards our child. Traveling with a little one can sometimes be challenging, but the way the team looked after our child—with such patience, warmth, and genuine care—made all the difference. It allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment of our stay.
It’s rare to find a place that balances great food, beautiful surroundings, and such heartfelt hospitality so effortlessly. Sur La Mer is not just a place you stay—it’s a place you connect, unwind, and create lasting memories.
We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, and we’re already looking forward to returning.

Excellent stay! Great for families! Love the rooms, pool and the food! Evenings are great at SLM with music on…

My favourite hotel in North Goa. I love the architecture, shanti vibes, evening atmosphere and great food. We have been staying at SLM for the last 17 years and it’s a home away from home for us. Our kid and us adore everyone there - the family, the staff… they are super kid friendly and that POOL…miss it !!

Sur la mer Goa

Sur la Mer Goa delivered an exceptional experience. The ambience was truly captivating, creating a perfect backdrop for a memorable stay. What truly stood out was the culinary experience – undoubtedly, some of the finest food I've encountered in the area. The owner's genuine humility and warmth were remarkable, and the staff consistently demonstrated helpfulness and politeness. This is a gem worth discovering

AMAZING

Sur La Mer is our favorite place. It is such a great hotel with an excellent service. You will enjoy Rajoo and Nayan who are running the place. They are lovely people. The rooms are nice and the food is to die for. Don't miss the chocolate fondant. It is more than tasty. We can't wait to come again. Eva & Thomas

How Goa should always be…..

Very well designed hotel and everything is functional. The food was very good and the staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and large and the mattress was very comfortable. A fantastic place to kick back and really get to relax. Would recommend to anyone. The owner Raju is a legend and was very welcoming. The space is very well designed and built to last a long time.
