Rangoli Retreat is at ideal location

Nice location centrally located close to the market and we could horse ride to all the points. Recommend this hotel because the food is vegetarian and simple

WORST TO WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!Shall highly NOT RECOMMEND RANGOLI RETREAT TO ANYONE.

The hotel is very dirty. No hygiene at all.Bathroom drainage was even chocked up dusty beds and pillows. complete area including room were not at all clean. Morning breakfast was stale. the taste was spoiled. No room service available. worst to worst experience we ever had. we had booked for 2 nights finally family denied staying for any single minute and we had to check out the very same day. Only talking goodie over call doesn't run a business. authorities please do not spoil someone's valued vacation how it occured to us.

Unsafe place to safe

Very unsafe hotel to stay , there is no security in Rooms, thief enter to our house around 1 am in the night ,thief was trying to open the balcony window and we just observed and came out of the rooms and we very tensed and finally we have check out due to fear , money is not refunded by the hotel..if you stay there is no guarantee whether you will return back to your place safely

Rangoli Retreat Hotel , Matheran - Please read this before you book.

Myself and my wife had been to Rangoli Retreat (Matheran) on 08/5/2023 to 10/5/2023 the experience was very dissatisfactory.
1) The window AC was making loud sound throughout and was placed in such a way that a big sofa-cum -bed was blocking it's air flow.
2) Washbasin location in the bathroom is totally inconvenient.
3) On 09th May, 2023 due to load shading there was no power from about 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Surprisingly the hotel management did not bother to use generator available with them and made the guests suffer. Further they also charged AC Room Rent and not given any deduction in the bill.
Please think twice before you book this hotel.

Thank you for your valuable feedback and bring things in our notice. The problem you have mentioned was temporarily. Power down from entire matheran for two days. Hence we were able to keep the generator live for limited number of hours. Same happened to entire matheran. We gave 500 INR discount to each customer on second day stay because of the AC issue. Also All window AC is being fixed in the rooms. We would be happy to serve you again.

Diwali vacation

This hotel is really good for any vacation plans…and this is near the station of matheran and the view is really good…I really liked the food and services….we really enjoyed the place and even the magician games…thankyou hotel rangoli….we gonna come here again !!!
