Worst stay experience ever

I booked directly calling up the hotel. The staff was so rude and impolite. They mock at me for just inquiring if complimentary breakfast is available saying I am expecting too much for what I paid (though it was 1650/- for a night). The room service, the restaurant, cleanliness is all pathetic. The only reason this hotel is still making business is lack of any other hotel nearby and visitors of IIST and ISRO don't have an option. Trust me I have never written a review for a hotel before and this time I made it a point to do so in every platform I could.

Better stay in the main city

Had to stay in this hotel to attend an interview at IIST as it is nearby. Reached late at around midnight, had booked before so there was no problem. In the morning, the taps in the bathroom broke, water was flowing incessantly. So I had to change to another room, all in the rush of getting ready to attend the interview. Plus, even hot water was not available for bathing even after requesting staff. Plus, staff did not guide me well on the means of transport to the city. Plus, read in another review that the bar is frequented by lowlifes to get fully drunk, so did not eat in their restaurant. Overall, it is better to stay in the city even though you have to visit IIST/ ISRO.

EXPECTATIONS REMAINED AS EXPECTATIONS

Advance booking was done via telephone few days back with out paying a penny. Reached the hotel near 8 pm in the night. The restaurant in the hotel closed at 9 PM.
We had to arrange the dinner from outside. As it is a small town, it was quite difficult. Room service after is terrible. No one pick up the phone at night and the reception is unmanned.
