Average hotel with good location and below average facilities

The location of this hotel is good as the main chownk is around 500 meters.. the only plus option is that it has a lift to go to upper floors. The room walls, linens were dirty. Washroom were not properly functional as the flush was leaking and there was a little importance give to hygiene. There might be many other hotels that are available in similar cost. I stayed at this hotel a decade back and it was good that time; hence i booked it again without reading much about it else I would have avoided it. 1 star is for location and 1 for the staff. Restaurant experience was bad last time so I didn't even tried it. I would suggest to opt for better hotels in the same price range. Location was good as you would get a auto for the main chownk and for the helipads easily...

A Good Spot

this is one of the best place to visit and stay.This is one of the best place I have seen so far.The staff is good and were very attentive to the guests.The hotel has good space and guests were very comfortable.

Stay at hotel with good hospitality

I visited maa Vaishno Devi temple yesterday and stayed at hotel Kashmir residency Katra . Location is excellent and on main road . Very near railway station app 5 minutes taxi or auto distance. Rooms are spacious and affordable. Staff is courteous. Has in own restaurant . Parking facility of own hotel . Front gives a very good look . Good Ambience and clean . Has a small lift also for use of customers. So old age and ladies have advantage.

Average Hotel with Average Amenities

The hotel is an average one and cheap too. The food was as tasty as dirty was the linen which we had to change after requesting twice. The waiters and bell boys were very nice and courteous but the front office people were arrogant and charged us extra for a full day bedding even though we used it for half day with prior information to them. They even did miscalculation against the advance given to them and worst of all was the trasport van which was supposed to drop us to railway station immediately vanished once we got down with our stuff post check out. Only recommended to those who are looking for just an average hotel to sleep.
