Picturesque and green setting, clean and simple place to stay

This is a home stay that feels like home! It's set amidst greenery, rooms are large sized, food is simple and absolutely delicious and the mother-son duo running the place are so welcoming. There are two cute indie dogs on the premises too. The support staff are smiling and helpful.
In fact, the only two suggestions I have would be to change the design of the bathroom so that the shower area is pushed back and the entire bathroom does not get wet when one has a bath and to provide better bed linen - noticed some stains on the sheets.
Otherwise the stay, even if it was only for a night, was wonderful. They even waited to provide us a hot dinner of "akki roti" when we got back after 10pm after the evening Pooja at sringeri math. The breakfast was lip smacking traditional fare.
If you're looking for a wholesome and simple stay, this is the place.

Quiet place in woods

This may be the best choice available in this rural locality. It is away from the town among areca plantations and has good ambience. Though a small property, it is maintained well. The food is homely and and service is good. It is a quiet place away from noise.
