Hotel Doon Castle, Dehradun

Excellent rooms taking into consideration the rates. The service was good and at reception Shri Prashantji and Shri Sudhirji were very helpful. The hotel is located in the prime location and easy access to transportation.

Not recommended

Changed room twice, third time room was in livable condition. Very poorly maintained property. Lacks sanitation and cleanliness. I would not recommend this hotel.

Worst Hotel in Dehradun. Avoid at all costs

It’s probably the worst hotel in Dehradun in terms of everything. Please avoid booking this hotel at all costs no matter how cheap you get it.
Loud noises everywhere and the management was shameful enough to let a construction work happen in the property early in the morning to ensure no guests can sleep properly.
Torn bedsheets and pillow covers are being used in this property
Dirty linen, walls and toilets with a foul smell
The toilet seat was broken and even the door didn’t get shut properly and had a broken knob. And imagine I had to pay INR 3,000 to get a filthy room in this property.

Worst experience

Do not stay at this hotel if you dont want to waste your money and upset your mood...third class behaviour and worst of the worst class service in accomodation also in refreshment. Geyser was not functional towels was not present not so good hygiene and if you want to waste your money for this then please you are welcome to this hotel.

We booked it under Oyo which was a replacement with another hotel. Though the sleeping arrangement was good but the bathroom was completely terrible we were given used toileterries the room bathroom didn't had toilet papers ,and when we demanded the hotel said that they didn't had toilet papers. The position of Commode was bad as their was tap between it. Making it uncomfortable to use.would not recommend
