an ideal place to spend some time

A place that is good to recommend. Clean calm and spacious rooms at affordable prices amidst the central and strategical situation in the commercial place of T.Nagar, Chennai. The bus stand is near the inn.
The managers are at your disponibility.
The breakfast in the morning is a good start for the day. Lunch and dinner are good optionals prepared in a clean mode for the guests only.

Bad experience

The rooms cleanliness is very bad...pillows not, blanket not clean, bathroom smells badly not clean, the staffs' appearance not clean at all, no thought to eat breakfast because of their staffs' look . The smell is not pleasant.

Bad management,

Room 203 (22/12/2019 to 27/12/2019)
I went to CIT branch, the manager asked for 1200/- for a single person, on telling him google shows ~900. His reply was "then go to Google and talk, over here I am in-charge and I will charge you ~1200". Later on he realized his mistake and charged ~900.
For all 5 days wifi was not working, TV was not working, intercom was not working, most of the time I had to buy water as their RO was not working.
(If you are escalation manager and reading this then, call and ask any guest who stayed here form 22/dec/2019 - 27/dec/2019).
And the manager lied every time saying "wifi will come in 30 min", " wifi will come tomorrow", everyday he said the same thing. He should have said clearly that they don't have wifi.
Intercom of Room- 203 was not working(I don't understand what relation it has with Wifi)
Now I called Kuber Inn to know the name of manager, a person named Kadir picked up the call but did not gave me the name of manager. The manager looks like (old, dark, 5'10", early 50's).

Not bad for this price

Price is cheap for economy rooms. But rooms are congested.
Food is cheap and tasty. Sufficient enough if you are planning for a quick night stay.
Close to shopping areas like T.Nagar.
Average ambience and cleanliness.

If you are going for a budget trip, then I suggest this is a good option considering the location. If on a business trip kindly avoid, since commercial related activities are bit off the street! Food is below average , I'll put a rating of 2 out of 5 for food
