FOR SAFE & COMFORTABLE FAMILY STAY

I have here three times before this visit.
As reviewed by me earlier this hotel is centrally located with easy approach to all important locations
The hotel is neat and clean with spacious rooms.
The bath area is neat and clean.
The room is provided with sufficient coffee & tea making ingredients with a kettle.
The room had sufficient supply of linens.
The view from the room is very pleasing.
Additionally, they have provided individual Wi-Fi facility in the room this time.
The room service and the house keeping services were excellent.
The reception staff were very co-operative.
The Opal-Inn restaurant in the hotel is very decent with good quality food.
The only request to the hotel management is to make the telephone in the room functional.
We had to suffer all the four days as the phone was not functional.
Overall, the stay was comfortable and safe.

Okayish property with bad food experience

Pros :
Location is well connected
The reception staff is very efficient and polite.
Cons :
The property is very old and outdated.
The in room dining is REALLY BAD - Most items are never available and whatever is served is subpar.
Worst is the breakfast buffet - it's almost same everyday and nothing tasted good.
One of the staff at the breakfast buffet was extremely rude and lazy.

Stay Away from This Hotel—Deceptive Practices and Intimidation!

I recently had an extremely distressing experience at Ranjith Hotel, and I feel compelled to warn others to stay away from this establishment.
First, the hotel staff blatantly misled me about the early check-in charges. When I booked a premium suite, the receptionist assured me there would be no extra charges for early check-in. However, upon checkout, I was presented with a grossly inflated food bill of Rs. 8,000. Suspicious, I demanded an itemized bill and discovered that the actual food charges were around Rs. 3,000. The remaining Rs. 4,000 was sneakily added as an early check-in fee—something I had explicitly been told I wouldn't have to pay!
Even worse, when I questioned these fraudulent charges, the hotel’s owner commanded his employees—who looked more like goons than hotel staff—to intimidate and threaten me. This kind of thuggish behavior is absolutely unacceptable, and I have recorded evidence of these threats, which I am prepared to share if necessary.
To make matters worse, the management attempted to shift the blame onto a "trainee" staff member, claiming that I somehow took advantage of their mistake. This is both insulting and absurd. Guests should be able to trust the information provided by hotel staff, not be punished for it.
Despite my efforts to resolve this issue, the hotel’s response was dismissive and unprofessional. They refused to acknowledge their responsibility and instead tried to pin the blame on me for their own errors.
If you value transparency, honesty, and your personal safety, I strongly advise you to avoid Ranjith Hotel at all costs. There are plenty of other reputable hotels in the area that treat their guests with the respect and honesty they deserve.

Just okey for a night stay

Neat and clean place. Decent rooms and food and beverage options. Roof top restaurant is the best amongst all other dining options.
Breakfast spread is very limited. They just have the southindian spread and that too very limited.
One can’t smoke in any of their rooms. I did respect their policy.
Too much of no makes you feel very uncomfortable.
They have to really work on many aspects on guest service orientation. Now it’s just a money making business.

GOOD AND SAFE FOR FAMILY STAY.

Liked · The Hotel was in a central location with approaches to all important spots. The counter staff was cooperative. the hotel was neat and tidy. The room given to me (202) was also neat and clean. The supply of toiletries, tea coffee materials, water etc were perfect. The linen was clean. There was a road view from the room. The room service, housekeeping etc were perfect. The restaurant in 5th floor was adequate and clean. The food served was good. Overall, my selection of this hotel was justified. Worth for money.
Disliked · The Ac in my room was ineffective in spite of 18-degree setting. We had to sweat in the night. This has to be set right by the management. Parking facility is not there.
