The customer service was extremely poor. Staff appeared indifferent to guests' concerns and lacked even the basic standards of hospitality. Requests either took an unreasonably long time to be addressed or were ignored altogether, leaving me feeling like my business simply didn't matter.
The rooms were not maintained to the standard expected of a hotel claiming to offer premium accommodation. Cleanliness and overall upkeep were below average, and several amenities were either missing or not functioning properly.
What was most frustrating was the complete lack of accountability. Rather than resolving issues, staff offered excuses and showed little interest in ensuring guests had a comfortable stay.
There are far better hotels in Chennai that provide superior service, cleaner rooms, and far better value for money. I regret choosing Ambica Empire and certainly won't be returning. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant or professional stay. Management needs to take guest feedback seriously and make significant improvements if they hope to maintain any credibility. Recent online reviews have also raised similar concern
