Will Visit Again

Wonderful, pocket friendly property with beautiful views of the hills. Booked myself a few days prior to my visit and was greeted by a friendly staff. Rooms were neat and clean. Had a beautiful stay. Will come back again :)

Very Rude Person

I booked this hotel from goibibo at pay at hotel option. When i reached Dalhousie and called about my bookings they simply denied it. I told them that i can provide you with goibibo invoice but they very rudely denied. Don't even go near to this hotel.

Pathetic hotel: Stay in the Himalayas but avoid this hotel

This hotel is located in a terrible location. If you are coming by car, the road is extremely narrow for the cars to get in. The rooms are very very small and look like slums. They do not turn on the geyser. No intercom to connect to the reception. Complimentary dinner and breakfast were decent.
Overall remarks: Put up a camp in the Himalayas rather than staying in this hotel.

Terrible experience

I booked 3 rooms in Hotel Monal also paid a advance amount (online transaction) towards this booking. When we reached in Dalhousie they given us rooms in Hotel Aarti which they said belongs to their brother.
Rooms were not at all hygienic, old and stained bed covers, bath rooms were in horrible state, it was extreme cold and they kept the water heater off, only when we requested they turned it on for 30 min and again removed the connection without informing us. They were rude to us when we requested to start the water heater and some how restarted it again for another 15 min...
Certainly Hotel Aarti was low grade hotel and they cheated us by charging the rate for Hotel Monal and allotting rooms in Hotel Aarti ...
Beware of these people, my experience that they don't have business ethics...

Great Hotel for your basic requirements

Fantastic loctation just a short walk from the local market place, stayed here for a week and loved it amazing view, great staff in particular Deepak who ensured that we were looked after and kept safe at all times. Word of advise to UK tourists visiting, ensure you change money prior to arriving as it can a tedious task.
