eco park chakrata must visit place

eco park chakrata is the location where you can lost in paradise. here you can do bird watching, forest walk, nature walk, adventure activities, fun ganes , food and camping. it is inside Snow view heritage resort.

Real heritage with snow views

Snow everywhere, it's my first visit to Chakrata . I played a lot in snow, made snowman. Snow view heritage has a good view of Himalayas and forest valley. Food was very good as chef was very coustumiz and keep in mind your choice. Manager was good . overall staff was good. Mr Rawat was very helpful as he is a very good guide also , as we visited eco village and forest walk

Overall a good option for the price range and vicinity to market 1.5Km

144 sq m rooms with attached balcony - good view to mountains and enjoy sunsrise/sunset. Access to hot water in the bathroom. wall sockets for charging working.
TV wasnt working so had to complain and got it fixed. intercom never worked but got the alternate mobile of the manager to reach across to.
We took breakfast incl. option so enjoyed the room tea early morning. Breakfast is good with range of items served.
facilities - interms of food and room amenities average. Service is average too.
We carried our own towels and blankets as well.
Overall a good option for the price range and vicinity to market 1.5Km. Shere Punjab restaurant - must go to for meals. Gurudwara Singh Sabha is 1.5 kms too

Great view but pathetic rooms

Hotel has two parts - deluxe rooms and original structure. We stayed in deluxe rooms which were added to the hotel later. Rooms are small with very poor interiors. Only saving grace is is the view of mountains and forest you get.
Food and room service are not worth the price they charge.
Basic groceries are available in hotel premises.

Chakrata a well kept secret

Visited Chakrata and stayed in Snow view in October. The 19th century property is quite spacious and very economical considering what they provide in such a location. This destination is suited for singles and couple who prefer less crowded places. With very few hotels available in Chakrata one should always book the stay in advance. If you are going to Chakrata then Snow view is the place to stay. The set back for Chakrata is the conveyance and the dearth of hotels
