Decent hotel with an average view

I had visited this hotel for a function. Here are my pros and cons for this hotel:
Pros:
1. A perfect hotel to dump your belongings and rush to a function or a meeting in South Bengaluru!
2. Food is excellent and it is a vegetarian hotel which perfectly fits with me :)
3. Room size is not too small. There is a good AC along with a good functioning TV. You can relax after your day!!
4. Bathroom toileteries are present.
5. Courteous Staff
Cons:
1. Outside view is average. One can only see a huge building outside the window!!
2. Bathroom is average as well. Nothing special

BATHROOM WINDOW WITH NO VIEWS!

Woody's is centrally located in Jayanagar, Bengaluru. We stayed there for a night. The city metro and flyover works create big traffic blocks. Once we entered the city, our car moved like a snail and reached the hotel two hours after the scheduled time.
The room was rather smallish and old. We stayed in room number 106 in which the bathroom needed a thorough clean up (especially the mirror frames!) The switches seemed to have been wilfully tampered with and had not been serviced by the management.
The restaurant was closed and we had to go somewhere else for food.
The reception in charge Mr Hedge was very cooperative and friendly. But it was pointless trying to get some information from the other staff as they could speak only Kannada.
The room had no window opening to the outside world. But there was a big ''clear glass' partitioned widow on the wall of the bathroom separating the bathroom and the living/sleeping space. There is a curtain was spread across this window from inside the bathroom. If the curtain was not there, one would have to take a shower properly dressed!
It was the first time we had come across such a grand 'see-through' window in a hotel bathroom!

Don't stay unless you HAVE to!

Had no choice than to stay there due to its close proximity to the hospital across the road where a friend was admitted. Very poor upkeep of rooms. Arrived to find a pair of underpants dangling from the showerhead. The bedclothes had to be changed and the clothes rack on the wall came off in my hands.

Nice location, average facilities

The hotel is located at a very convenient location and still serves some tasty snacks but the quality of meals is not as great as it used to be. The rooms are decent and if you need a place to just dump your luggage and move around then this hotel serves the purpose.

Not a very good place

I used to go to woodys for the last 10 years. Of late I found that the quality of food is coming down fast. Only snacks here is worth eating the quality of plantain leaf lunch is very bad. They charge you Rs 208 including taxes and is just like a dharsini food. The vegetables used is cheap and service also not great. It is better to go to Sukh sagar type of hotels than woodys, at least you can save money.
Will never go there again.
