Another Wonderful Homestay Experience

I met Moses when I arrived, getting a chance to sit + chat. I really appreciated his calm energy after a chaotic first day in India. He helped me organise my two days in Agra, including a sunrise Taj Mahal tour with his brother John, and a TukTuk trip around Agra’s main sites with Dev
John was a wonderful guide that only enhanced my experience of the already awe-full Taj Mahal. He always had interesting facts + info to give but was patient when I wanted to wander. Dev was also patient and a great driver to have for a busy day around Agra
I’d recommend Agra Homestay to anyone who is looking to explore, relax, and meet some wonderful + interesting people. Thankyou to Moses, John, and their family for welcoming me into their home. I loved connecting and sharing stories ❤️

Great solo stay at Zigzag

Had a great stay at Zigzag. The homestay is a short tuktuk ride from some of the places you may want to go to like the Taj Mahal etc, but the upside is that it's a very quiet corner of Agra. Moses is a great and very helpful host, always answering messages without delay, and his tour of the Taj Mahal was absolutely worth it and made my trip. Thanks Moses!

A fond memory I’ll hold close to my heart

This homestay was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed previously and I’m so glad she did.
The family running this hostel go above and beyond, and the driver they work with is a real asset! He picked me up from the bus stop after a long coach ride from Delhi, and upon arrival I was greeted with open arms and a warm cup of chai. John’s sister made me dinner, and I stayed up for a few hours talking to John and two girls from Belgium who were also staying there. The whole experience was so warm, and the next morning the driver picked me up to go to the Taj Mahal at sunrise, where I met up again with John, who was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. After the Taj Mahal we went for breakfast at a cafe with a beautiful view, and John also took me to Agra Fort and the Baby Taj (both worth the visit!). We also stopped for lunch before the driver took me to my bus stop for my next leg of my journey.
This is one of my fondest memories of travelling India, and one that I will hold close to my heart. I do hope to come back one day :)

A wonderful and authentic place to stay in Agra

We had a great time staying at Zigzag with Moses and his family and dog. It's in a very local area which is a great way to see authentic life in Agra, it's also a great place to meet new people and ask Moses all about life here. We visited some local restaurants as a group and had Thali in the homestay which was nice. We also did the Taj tour with Moses which was reasonably priced and very informative. The rooms were comfortable and clean with good showers and a heater for the winter.

Home from home

We had a wonderful stay here with Moses, John, Steffi and their Mum (and doggy Sky). It really felt like a home from home as they were all so welcoming. We arrived early before check in time but were able to come to the home and have a shower, leave our bags in lockers and have some chai. They took care of everything we needed or wanted to do and offered their own tours which we took around Agra Fort and Taj Mahal with Moses. John arranged Tuktuks for the full day for us and recommended where to go for food and for the best views of the Taj Mahal. Moses also arranged a taxi for us to Jaipur. Absolutely everything was taken care of so we didn’t need to worry. We also enjoyed a very tasty homecooked Thali during our stay. We stayed in a private room with ensuite which was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you for having us Zigzag!
