easily walk around and you are in the hub of vendors & Agra life
as for hotel, employees at door and reception excellent …. very helpful
breakfast at hotel is standard indian fare
for north american you can ask for eggs to order
chai tea was excellent
servers are very polite
now there seems to be a supervisor who keeps walking around the dining room with a pad n pencil checking off hotel rooms : he did the same the previous night when I went for a late supper
very nice room : clean
bathroom meets north american standards with toilet paper
yes and they have an elevator that fits 6 and works great
outside there are several stray dogs that are super friendly
and next door is a factory and I watched older women carrying bricks on their heads and working with their children around them … called them over and gave them each money …

Nice experience
It was first visit in Agra and i like the behaviour of hotel attendant Mr Akram he was very honest the reason i actually forget my pair of shoes during check out time but later when i called back at that i was back to Delhi and finally this guy searched my shoes which was expensive brand new shoe he was able to recover it .
And i very thankful by his behaviour .
But if i talk about hotel i would rate 3 out of 5.

Best Hotel
Friendly..... Best staff......... Affordable......., Best food........, Best rooms......, Spacious.........., What not everything.
When me and my friends landed in agra we were thinking about where to stay and whom to believe as it was our first visit to agra. But when we were dropped at the hotel Avalon taj we were really impressed within minutes by the hospitality of the crew and affordable prices.
Special mention to the coffee which we can get here it was damn good. And the food was soo good. I would love to visit this place again.
Love Avalon Taj and Taj Mahal ❤️.

Highly recommended.
Up to the mark...We stayed 2 days in the hotel in 2 rooms. Breakfast was so good Experience was felt. Toilet, rooms are upto the mark.
