In a central area

Hotel in a central location, just a 5-minute walk from the pedestrian area, recently renovated structure, medium-sized room and bathroom, furnishings could use a review, but clean, excellent wifi, reception closed in the evening but accessible with a key card, convenient internal parking by reservation, and good breakfast.

by a big street and close to the centre

This self-named Boutique Hotel is in a historical building, painted in bright yellow and carrying the name of Pecs in Roman times. A bit of a shock, when arriving, is the fact that it is just by a busy three-lane street, but thanks to good soundproofing it is no problem, once inside. Reception on arrival and also later on was very friendly.
My quite small room had a narrow single bed, but enough storage space and a writing desk with a lamp. It also had a full mini-bar, which I didn't need. The bathroom was fine. What I didn't like were the two windows: one on top at the slanted ceiling and one a slit at knee-level.
For breakfast in the cellar there was a buffet with a good choice of items. Since the reception closes at 7pm one enters with a special key from the back door after that. From the hotel it is an easy walk to the pedestrianised Kiraly street and to the main square Szechenyi Ter.

very positive, altogether

The room was fairly good, reception was OK. There was a very good breakfast buffet. However, if you want a guaranteed parking place, you have to pay an extra fee.

Great experience

Everybody was very helpful, the location is perfect, room is clean. We travelled with dog, everything was petfriendly.

Overall comfortable stay, staff was friendly and helpful. Big room, although outdated. Breakfast was OK. For the price I paid, it was not that great. But, it was not terrible, not excellent, so average.
