Absolutely no cons...everything was perfect!

We were due to arrive at a normal time but unfortunately missed our connecting plane, meaning we wouldn't arrive until the middle of the night. Nothing was too much trouble for this hotel and ALL of the staff were extremely helpful and polite...which in the circumstances were such a blessing! We were given clear instructions how to get in the car park and our keys for the room and the room was beautiful and perfect.
We had a room (for 4) containing 2 King size beds that were separated by one of the 2 bathrooms. Each side had its own tea /coffee facilities, fridge and a TV. The air conditioning was perfect and the room/hotel was exceptionally clean.
The following morning, the lady on reception helped us so much on how to travel into Budapest and get back. Her advice was to be priceless. She was also very friendly towards my grandson.
Although our time was very short, we did manage to quickly walk around the city which was minutes away and which is very clean with beautiful buildings, shops and restaurants.
My only regrets are the time we lost (due to flight issues) & that we couldn't spend longer there and not taking any photos of the hotel or especially the room! Hopefully I can go back soon and make the most of it...
Thanks to all the Staff at the Fonte for giving us a great service and memories...especially when everything else was going wrong!

Way too hot in rooms old part. Otherwise fine.

Great hotel. Friendly people. Clean and good breakfast. Also the parking at the hotel was great.
But we were in old part where there is no air conditioning and the heat was not doable!!! Despite the fact that the temperature had not yet been above 30 degrees. The beds a bit on the hard side.
If you want to sleep here ask if you can go into the new part. There seems to be air conditioning in there. Nice tips from the receptionist.

Nice sweet charming friendly hotel

This is down as a 3 star hotel I think it could easily be more. The hotel is well located in Gyor yes its small but extremely clean. The staff are so helpful and so friendly especially the girl on reception Victoria. The location of the hotel works perfectly for me and my wife as she is currently working here in Gyor. I would recommend this sweet friendly hotel 100% to anyone and will be revisiting

Close to downtown, average hotel.

Very well located accommodation. Clean, large room with average furnishings. There is no permanent reception, but when there is, the staff is nice and helpful. The parking lot gate must be opened for the guests (it is not automated), which was a bit tricky in the rain. The breakfast was quite "poor", but delicious.

The Wizz air of hotels

The Wizz Air of hotels.
For what seems a reasonable price for a old town hotel one rapidly falls out of love with the various add ins. Parking €8 per night. Not unreasonable. Dog €12 each!!! Wtf more than any hotel we have stayed in across Europe. So add in the tourist tax and that’s an extra €34.50. Or more than parking 3 cars. If the extra is for room cleaning then it should be one charge. Sadly customer service has not reached Hungary yet despite it being 34 years since the fall of communism. Bah humbug Nem Jo
Oh I forgot breakfast is extra too. ripoff
