Home from Home

My husband and 2 children stayed at this hotel in August for 8 days, whilst looking around Balaton to purchase a property.
It is truly a lovely hotel. Christina owns and runs this hotel with a small cohort of staff and it runs like clockwork. They are all helpful and very friendly. The room we had was clean, cozy and met our needs. There are lots of fun amenities i.e. pool, table tennis, climbing frame and sandy areas to entertain younger guests.
The pool area is shared with a neighboring hotel and is clean and adequately sized to refresh you. Christina was kind enough to always bring drinks to the pool side, despite me waiting to take my own drink! Very friendly and hospitable.
We really liked the security aspect of the hotel, that the main gate would stay locked and all residents had a key. I felt safe for my youngest child to be left alone without my constant supervision. On occasion we had left valuables in the room on display and again the safety and security element of this hotel was brilliant.
The continental breakfast was simple, tasty, fresh and plentiful. The evening meal we had was delicious.
It really was a sad day when we had to leave; we arrived as strangers and left as friends.
We will certainly be visiting again - Easter 2018.

Friendly staff, clean rooms & good breakfast.

The staff was friendly and professional and went out of her way to make sure we were satisfied with everything. The room was freshly renovated, clean and comfortable. There is a big swimming pool and a huge rustique wooden playground, so it's even more perfect for families with kids.

pro:Nice and friendly staff, good location (only 10min walk from center and Balaton), great swimming pool, wonderful, well equipped garten
con: sometimes weak wifi, only one roof window: weak for a room > wet/damp air. (probably only for attic rooms) toilet water was constantly leaking

Very cozy place

Clean and cozy room (maybe expected a little bit bigger room), friendly staff (helpful with suggestions and in general just being nice and smily people), good food (huge portions) and great location (not too close for the main chaos but with nice 10 min walk to the lake).

Absolute relaxation, very (family) friendly

Nice and very clean B&B close to everything like city center, restaurants or beach. Staff is exceptionally friendly you can't have any weird wish which they wouldn't try to deliver on. There is a small playground for children and guests also can use the pool of the neighboring hotel. So you might not want to even go to the Lake. In case you make reservation you may check whether you can pay by credit card or not as we found this as the biggest gap they still have to overcome.
