I completely enjoyed my time here, great food, great staff, BEAUTIFUL environment. Waking up to the mangrove daily was priceless!

Canafistra a natural paradise
A fantastic place, it was amazing also is close to Bissau because it is not difficult to get to know ❤️Â I went there on Easter had a lot of people, the food was good the drink I was also impressed because I live in Bissau, I only heard people talking q the place is very fx i amazing finally was fx yes.

Great stay by the river
Great stay in front of one of the most beautiful river I have ever seen. The facilities are amazing, they offer Kayaking activities and great dining experience.
Rooms are comfortable and all have A/C and flat TV with Netflix for a chill night time :)

Impressive, but I didn't find peace in the middle of nature
Canafistra is a magical place, surrounded by nature. The pool is very good and there is a good variety of drinks. The staff are sweet and attentive, and the room was clean, with the basics for a comfortable stay.
However, the communication before the arrival was confusing. Although the hotel says it responds via Instagram, the responses were short and time-consuming. The food was terrible, with options like fried potatoes and pork spikes that didn't please me at all.
Despite the beautiful environment, it is impossible to find peace in the hotel. As early as 1:30 a.m., someone tried to open the door of my room asking if I needed to go to the airport. At 5:00 a.m., a guest spoke loud to his cell phone in the hallway and outside. At 7:10 they started hammering something and at 8:28 they played gospel music along with the noise of the hammer. The worst was in the pool area: throughout the day, even being the only guest, I did not enjoy another minute of silence during the two days I spent there. The employees gathered there, talking out loud, laughing, watching videos on TikTok in high volume and with no respect for the rest of those who wanted to take advantage of the space.
Overall, the hotel has potential for the environment and location, but the lack of organization, care with the silence and disrespect for the quiet of the guests make the experience disappointing. Not recommended for those looking for tranquility.
