Good staff, mountainous area. Near many beach and restaurant. Remember to put lotion repels mosquitoes

To avoid

2* hotel with pool and Jacuzzi. Only positives.
For the rest small rooms, very noisy (you hear everything including the neighbor's air conditioning)
Cleaning is 1 day a week, including toilet paper.
No safe, when “cleaning is done” all room doors are wide open.
A friend “lost” a wallet with her ID.
Staff bof and contrary to the pictures the beach is 800m away.
The restoration is arbitrary and the PdJ very uneven.
If you can, go somewhere else.

We were happy with this accommodation, better than what could be expected from a two star hotel. Staff assisted when asked and greeted us daily. you need a vehicle to get any where. There are a few food places close by, and a small grocery store.
As is typical for the islands expect noise from roasters and dogs. Overall I would recomend this place to friends

Very disappointed

Apart from the quiet, this old hotel has potential, but a lot to see: torn mosquito nets in the windows, uncomfortable toilets for the strong (and for others too!), operation of the shower, no hairdryer. Breakfast was long overdue... to finally have bread, frozen pastries, cold coffee that had to be reheated and fruit juices (what looked like a fruit juice) arrived almost at the end of breakfast. Too bad because well placed, deserves a good nine.
