The hotel is located right in the heart of Thassos Town (Limenas) making it a five-minute walk to the central bars & restaurants, as well as a ten-minute walk to the Old Harbour and local beach (Limanaki).

Noisy at the front. Request a room overlooking gardens
I Recently stayed at the Lido hotel with my sister. The hotel is boutique style and quite quirky with a nice pool area. The room was quite basic. It had adequate wardrobe and cupboard space, a fridge and a good size balcony. There was a kettle and cups and saucers but no coffee, tea and milk. I requested these from reception but was told we had to pay for them. Had we known this we'd have brought some with us. Our room was on the second floor overlooking a main street and closest to the busy junction. The traffic noise was so loud at times we could hardly hear ourselves talk whilst sitting on the balcony. We appreciated that the hotel was centrally located but even with the balcony doors closed the traffic noise was keeping us awake most nights. Not to mention some of the guests slamming doors when arriving back in the early hours. Some of the Tui guests we spoke to were located at the back of the Hotel which overlooked the gardens and were much quieter. The gardens were nice with lovely seating areas and the odd few sunbeds which had seen better days. Breakfast was the usual continental style with cereal, museli, eggs, cheese and ham. On reading some of the earlier reviews prior to our visit we were under the impression there was a pool bar. Although it didn't state this in the description quite a few reviews mentioned the bar so we were quite disappointed to find it wasn't open anymore. The hotel is in a good spot for all the local amenities but request a room at the back and not overlooking the busy road if you want some peace.

A little gem
I have been here since Sunday and loving it. my room overlooks the pool, is a very good size, clean and comfortable with a view of the hills from the balcony. Breakfast is served 8-10 and the pool is open 10-6. Yes breakfast is basic but it’s simple honest fare to set you up for the day. Short walk into town and the ferry port, bus station etc to get further afield if you dont drive . i would most definitely stay here again!

Could be so much better
Hotel in good position and clean.rooms OK. Bar picture looked nice but was never allowed in bar ,used to bring drinks out but garden area very scruffy and run down, used hotel bar and pool up road. Thassos is lovely but would stay

Nice little gem but breakfast needs to improve
Lido Hotel is situated just a short walk to Thassos town and the beach; it is located in a nice spot.
The Air con, Wi-Fi & safe in your room were all free.
The hotel provided breakfast only; which was a selection of fried eggs in a bay oven heater (you didn’t know how long they had been in there), 3 x different cereal, 2 x types of meat, 1 x type of cheese, sliced bread, sliced cake, tinned fruit, yogurt, tea & coffee which was kept in an urn ( you pushed it down to get coffee); if you wanted fresh coffee then you paid for this separately. The breakfast was very poor and definitely not value for money. This was probably one of the worst breakfast service/quality I have experienced abroad.
The Hotel Rooms were ok, you had a small fridge and kettle/cups to use, the furniture was alittle outdated, but that was not an issue.
The hotel had a heated Indoor swimming pool and a large garden at the back; these features were really nice and relaxing.
All the Staff were all very pleasant and helpful & our rooms were cleaned on a regular basis.
This hotel is a nice little gem but really needs to improve on the breakfast selection/service as this definitely lets the hotel down.

A small hotel that likes to please in any way possible.
I have just returned from another two weeks at Hotel Lido. The welcome was as warm as ever and this hotel never disappoints. The spotless rooms are very comfortable and bed linen and towels are changed regularly. Breakfast is simple but delicious. The location is ideal for easy access to shops, restaurants, the old harbour and the town beach. Panos, Roula and Nikos take excellent care of their guests and are always available to help with any queries. Looking forward to another visit already!
