Travlos Studios -the very best
There are very many advantages and some disadvantages for staying at the Travlos Studios and here I will explain in detail and being honest also .
First if it is peace and tranquillity you seek Travlos Studios cannot be bettered.
what really makes it the best place to stay are the exceptional views, the roomy outside terraces and the breathtaking scenery and sea views.
For service, the owners Vasilis and Elisabeth are truly the best you will ever find , they will go out of their way to do anything for you .
It is true however that they are meticulous about their property and rightly so.
They are constantly cleaning , and maintaining every little aspect,including all of the little leaves etc . They do not appreciate any rowdy people and any noise that would upset the other occupants and once again rightly so .
The property is meticulously clean and spotless and kept so .
If you wish to have your room cleaned you leave the key before eleven and collect it upon your return.
You are considered "family" {unless you upset either of them) and they will accomadate your every need .
Wifi is free and relatively reliable .
Not a great deal of cooking facilities , a microwave or toaster would help but may also affect the cost of your stay . However the twin electric ring caters for most needs.
The downside is the accessability .
The property can only be reached on foot via either a very steep hill or a lesser gradient but a longer overall walk .
It is definitely not suitable for those wh suffer back or joint pain ,as I found out to my downfall, because I suffer with osteoarthritis .
Therefore for those who wish to stay in the accomadation a hire car is a must and I would suggest for the duration of the holiday .
Different car rental is therefore a cerain consideration . They will drop off at the location and pick up also .
The nearest bar is Octopus ,serving great food and drinks , but once again a 20 min stroll and toward the end of September they have restricted opening hours .
after that it is about a mile walk before you can reach any bar/restaurant of any kind.
However, please do not these negative comments stop you from considering the Travlos as they are well worth the inconvenience .

A charming and immaculately clean establishment in a wonderful location.
Vasilias and Elizabeth keep a charming and immaculately clean establishment. They are incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they just go out of their way to help.
The location is wonderful, set atop a hill at the far end of Poros, stunning views out across the sea and quiet too.
We had a relaxing and welcome stay and highly recommend Travlos Studios.

Wonderful couple who own the hotel, they cant do enough for you. Immaculate clean rooms, lovely quiet location.
If you want to use a pool Paradise pool bar is amazing
Lots of great places to eat
Day out in Scala is a must
Definitely 10 out 10 place to stay
Lots of supermarkets that will deliver
Location of apartment is a good 20 mins walk to restaurants, steep hill back, keeps you fit

Beautiful place to stay.
Such a lovely place to stay. The studio apt was modern and clean with everything in it you could want. The couple who own it live on site and they are really lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. It is situated right at the end of Poros in a lovely quiet spot. I would recommend it to anyone and we will definitely be staying there again.

The most amazing holiday
We have just have the most amazing holiday we were booked to go to Morocco for a week but due to earthquakes we had to cancel and at last minute book another holiday we settled on kefalonia as we’ve been before but the other side of the island I saw Travalos studios and thought it sounded perfect a quiet resort with lovely restaurants so booked and the next of we flew I am lost for words to say just how perfect it was the apartment was spotless and also the whole complex was spotless and so well maintained buy and amazing husband and wife team and together made our holiday one we will never forget I had holidays that I’d not wanted to end but leaving there and saying goodbye I was close to tears it was such a lovely welcoming and relaxing place to be with definitely be going back in the spring ♥️♥️
