Relaxing holiday

Lovely apartments set in gorgeous peaceful gardens! All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming and always had time for our small children. The hotel has a lovely friendly feel and all of the guests who stayed when we were there said hello and casual conversations. Parga is beautiful and has some gorgeous restaurants and bars! The beaches are a short walk down the hill although water shoes are. Must! Would highly recommend the hotel and would definitely stay again.

Great for the price

We recently returned home from Parga having stayed with my partner and teenage daughter during the school holidays.
Having read lots of negative reviews about the place I must say we were pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Aristidis Garden.
The 1 bedroom apartment was spotless with comfortable beds. The kitchen area was fine for what we needed and the bathroom was clean and a good size. The balcony was quite large with two doors opening onto it and a lovely view of the mountains and gardens.
I had emailed ahead to ask them to provide aircon as we were arriving late and I knew reception would be closed. Unfortunately we could not get the unit to work but this was fixed promptly the next day. The cost was 50 euros p/w.
The pool area was once again pleasantly surprising for a budget accommodation. You could always get sunbeds no matter what time of day. I see a couple complained about kids but it was the school holidays. Personally I thought it was very quiet. Much quieter than anywhere I have stayed during the holidays. This is something I liked a lot about the place, it was peaceful. Set in lovely well kept gardens with a small snack bar. Unfortunately the snack bar only opens at 11am so you can not get an early coffee and they only take cash. It also closes early evening which is a shame so you can not get a drink before going out for the evening.
The only negatives for me were the curtains in the rooms were very flimsy and did not close properly so very light in the morning and the shower could have done with replacing but still worked adequately. The big negative (in 37 degree heat!) was the walk home from Parga up the hill. It took about 20-25 minutes and in the heat this was a lot! But then if it was closer to Parga it would cost more! I recommend this for fit and healthy people who want somewhere with a cheap budget and that is quiet. Parga is a lovely town with so much to do in the area. The complex for a budget accommodation is really very good for what you pay for.

Great setting, family lovely, but noisy round pool

This is a great value, family run hotel within walking distance of the harbour in Parga.
The family are lovely and quick to help if you do need anything.
The setting was lovely, in large gardens with a pool which always had sunbeds available. It was, however, very noisy on the times we did decide to go round the pool with a couple of families being particularly rowdy.
The actual room was quite big with a good size kitchenette and bathroom with a fab walk in shower. Balcony was nice and big and it was great to have a clothes hanger on there too. The cleaner was exceptional!
Sadly we didn't get a lot of sleep throughout our stay as the mattress on the bed was way too soft and we were disturbed and woken up by the people in the room above us every night by them being extremely noisy, at 1am, 4am and 6.30am.. like clockwork! Loudly scraping chairs along the length of the floor and the sounds of a child/children running around, jumping and yelling. The local cockerel woke us up too!
That said, we would go back and stay again as it wasn't too far from town and the best bakery.

Modern, with a pool and nice rooms

Beautiful studios. Well-furnished and well-kept small apartments, small kitchenette (very small) but it's fine for making do, the outdoor area is well-kept, pool well-maintained, very relaxing place if that is what you are looking for. The bathroom is nice but small, but the three of us were fine there. Very comfortable beds, and it is not easy to find them. The lady is very kind. She makes you feel at ease in everything and assists you with anything. The only flaw of the room is that those who, like me, hate light in the room early in the morning might have some problems, it is not at all blackout-capable.
Another important thing to know is that it is not close to the center. You can walk it but it is a quite long route, not recommended, and cars in the center of Parga are difficult to park.
Fair price in my opinion for what it offers….would I go back? Absolutely yes!

Would I go again, probably not. Would look for something near the centre

Judith from Kendal I think we were there at the same time as you. The pool was dirty around the edges, the lights in the pool kept falling out, my husband kept putting them back in. The three family’s were there and yes they made that much noise we couldn’t sit round the pool. Dogs from other accommodation woke us up every night.
The rooms were clean and tidy although there was a smell sometimes. The cleaner was lovely, and the staff were also nice. When I got the text from Jet 2 saying that we had to walk the 500mtrs to the coach, I rang them and they told me that the mini bus would pick us up, which it did.

Very good location
