Amazing owner, comfortable room, perfect location

We are at the amazing Grimani Pension. Centrally located, old town, bus station, port all 2 mins walk. Amazingly helpful friendly Nikos is available - by text/in person for all our needs and queries. Comfortable, clean modern room. Incredible far reaching views of fortress, castle and sea from our street corner room.

Perfect Central Location, Spotlessly Clean, Kind hosts

I stumbled across this little gem, intending only to stay for a night.
A warm welcome, with tasty food and drink. I ended up staying 5 nights, using it as an ideal base for exploring.
Tastefully decorated inside,equipped with everything I needed.
I was sad to leave, it was by far, one the best pensions I had stayed in.

Great Location

We stayed at the Grimani for 3 nights in Room 2 on the top floor, front. Nicos was very welcoming and showed us up the 50 steps to the room. It looked very fresh and nice with a lovely mirrored wardrobe. There were no drawers though. It was quite spacious although the balcony was narrow with a good view towards the castle. The bed was big and quite comfortable. The bathroom was decorated in metallics and looked great. However the shower was a bit small and the door didn't work properly. Unfortunately the drain in the floor was rather smelly so we had to try and remember to keep the door closed. I know this can be a problem in hot countries. We had plenty of clean towels and bedding. We didn't have breakfast.
The location was really good being a short walk to the seafront and also just down the street to the start of the old town. The lovely extensive park area was just around the corner and beyond that the newer town with the locals' tavernas. Avranatia beach was about a 10 minute walk but they were closing it all down when we were there.
We enjoyed our stay and thought it was reasonable value.

Stylish room and other premises

Only one minus, we would like to stay here longer. Because location just perfect, view from room and balcony so nice. Staff and owner very friendly, they are running as well small bar downstairs, all pension is done in very nice design. Rooms lovely decorated, beds very comfortable.

Excellent!

A five night stay at Nafplio Grimani family pension. So it's a family business which makes everything perfect. Well taken care off establishment. The room was nice decorated the view was an amazing sunset view of the castle. Clean bathroom (the most important thing). Sheets and towels where changed every other day. Complimentary cake and biscuits. And did I mention the extremely friendly family... I will only go to Grimani if I'm to visit Nafplio again.
