An excellent address

A Well Placed Hotel with Excellent Welcoming, we explain all the points of interest in the area. The rooms are nice and the breakfast excellent with local and homemade products, from jam to tiropita.

Good choice for the area

A quite good hotel in a very good spot and a very nice view!! Mr. Giannis is very helpful and with a smile all the time! A quiet hotel with quite spacious rooms! The breakfast has enough things for a two-star hotel!

Lower than average

Visited on August 2018 and left prematurely. It is a 2-star hotel and I shouldn't expect much, but the owner is inexperienced and almost unprofessional, nevertheless she is kind. The hotel itself is ok, but needs continuous improvement (like the breakfast and the beds). There are no parking slots. It has great view though. I would not recommend this hotel. Especially for €80 per night it could be lot better.

σας θυμαμαι παρα πολυ καλα απο το περιστατικο που δεν μπερεσατε να βρειτε την παραλια της Πλυτρας κ ηρθατε κ μου επιτεθηκατε στην ρεσεψιον.Απο οτι θυμαμαι στο πρωινο τρωγατε αρκετα γιατι διαλεγατε να καθισετε διπλα στον μπουφε ακριβως .
οσον αφορα τα κρεββατια εχουν ανατομικα στρωματα.παρκινγκ αναγραφετε οτι ειναι στον δρομο.
οσον αφορα για τον επαγγελματισμο μου κ την εμπειρια μου τυγχανει αυτο το ξενοδοχειο να το εχουν χτισει οι γονεις μου κ να εχω μεγαλωσει κανοντας αυτη τη δουλεια.ΛΥΠΑΜΑΙ ΠΑΡΑ ΠΟΛΥ ΓΙΑΤΙ ΣΠΑΝΙΑ ΣΥΝΑΝΤΩ ΤΟΣΟ ΚΑΚΟΒΟΥΛΟΥΣ ΑΝΘΡΩΠΟΥΣ .αυτο αφορα κ την κυρια που εγραψε το παραπανω σχολιο που τυγχανει να ηταν η συντροφος σας στην παραμονη.Δεν υπαρχει κατι που να δικαιολογει το μενος σας

Comfy stay at a lovely homelike hotel

We planned to stay only for one night and decided to stay one more day after a pleasant experience. Giorgio and Mary are very nice and helpful, so generous and prepared to fulfill all our wishes. It wasn't only a tourist stay, but felt like staying at a friend's place.
The location is perfect - just the right distance from the city center. We had bikes with us and in the mornings went to Monemvasia. We came there in 10min. The restaurants in the town center are 2min away by car.
Breakfast is delicious, homemade and freshly prepared, a russian buffet, so anyone can take what they want.
Very clean and nicely decorated.
We will have an unforgettable memory on Hotel Castro. Especially because of the perfect surprise that G&M made for us on the last day :) <3

Does what it says in the adverts

2 star hotel, very friendly and helpful hosts, home cooked continental breakfast, clean and perfectly adequate. Walking distance to the old town and the harbour where the cafe's, bars and tavernas are.
No lift, so not for the physically challenged.
Its a 2 star hotel, no frills, and reasonably priced.
The main doors are locked between 11pm & 8.00pm (but you have a key for access).
