Spring visit.

Would like to thank Chris and his team for looking after us so well when we visited even though it was the first week of opening for the 2026 season everything ran like clockwork.
Hope you are not still wearing your winter coat when we return in July.

Lovely second stay here

We stayed for 11 nights, first time 2 weeks back in 2019. The gardens have upgraded with new lighting, solid fixed umbrellas (can get windy and did blow over first time there) and cushions on the sun beds. Interiors are the same but are comfortable and adequate. Bedding and towels get changed every 3 days. Always lovely hot water with a powerful shower. No toiletries supplied so bring your own along with a tea towel and cloth for washing up. You have a little washing line on the balcony with a few pegs which is very handy. Air con was great and kept the room cool, you also get electric metal shutters at the patio door, which was fab for keeping the room cool during the days and dark at night so no early bright mornings! The small concealed kitchen was great for making a snack and fridge for keeping your drinks cool. They supply glasses, plates and cutlery, maybe take a bigger mug if you like a large hot drink and your favourite tea/coffee!
Chris was great and he will be there to meet and greet you, check you in and is helpful if you need anything. Maria was there on our first visit and was great fun and very efficient. We were not very impressed with the two recent members of staff. They didn’t want to interact or be helpful. I got pretty much insinuated I was stupid, by the guy for asking for a salad sandwich! (I’m veggie). I respectfully asked for just salad with mayo. I got the smallest amount of salad in toasted dry bread with no mayonnaise and no onions! We had breakfast one morning which was hilarious! Omelette which was the flattest omelette you would ever see and tasteless. We made our own breakfast and lunch after that. The bakery 10 minutes up the road was our go to place! If you like pina coladas then please don’t ask the young girl to make them! Ask Chris his were delicious and we did say to Chris he needs to teach her how to make them. We paid €20 for two she made ( my husband got them for a surprise while sunbathing) but they were absolutely awful, I did go and say but was on deaf ears!
The pool was lovely, the guest were all like minded people who like to chill and relax. The village is a good 5/10 minutes walk away but on flat land.

Unbelievably relaxing

Great location, quiet and spotlessly clean. Nice studio, great aircon and comfy bed.
Gardens were immaculate and the pool was fantastic, never struggled to get a sun lounger.
Chris was very welcoming and efficient throughout our two week stay. Daytime pool staff not so. Really didn’t want to be there, zero hospitality, never saw them smile once. Spent most of their time smoking rollups and drinking frappes. Never once initiated any interaction. My request for advice for car hire recommendations was met with total disinterest. However, we did not let this detract from enjoying our stay.
Kateleios itself is an easy 10 minute stroll, with some good tavernas. Some better than others, but you decide what’s best for you. Our firm favourite was Angiloinas, fab hospitality and the freshest of fish. We ate there 5 times during our stay as a result. The best bar was undoubtedly Floridita, great service.
The bakery was great, and the best frappe was served at Nemesis.
In summary, would we return? Yes, no question.
Super relaxing, quiet and comfortable. A little hospitality from the daytime staff would make it extra special.

First visit to Aligis.

We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks stay at Aligis, we received a very warm welcome from Chris and we're then allocated our room which was so clean and comfortable we normally sleep with two pillows so asked for an extra pillow each and were given them straight away.
The room was cleaned every day and towels and bedding changed three times during our stay.
All the staff at Aligis were so friendly and even the two cleaners used to greet us every morning with a Kalimera.
The pool area was excellent with plenty of sunbeds but please note the pool is deep so young children should be supervised at all times.
We had lunch a few times at Aligis and everything we had was so fresh and delicious especially the Greek pizza which we would highly recommend and we found the prices very reasonable.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special and we are so looking forward to seeing you all again in September.
Brian and Janet.

The Best .

Just back from a 2 week holiday at the Aligis Studios. I would like to thank Chris, Irene & Philip for making our holiday so enjoyable. Everything was as good as the last time we visited 2 years ago and have already booked for 2026.
The rooms and gardens as well as the pool are kept beautiful . Thanks also to the two ladies who look after the rooms
We met some lovely people who are regulars to the studios over many years .
Hi to everyone and hope we see you next year.
Katelios is a small very traditional Greek village with lots of taverns along the sea front which are to a very high standard Blue Sea ,Maria's Delicious to name a few .The Dreamchatcher also is worth a visit for lunch or dinner but a torch is needed at night if walking. Nikos and Dimitri are great fun .
If your are thinking of visiting Katelios do not hesitate to book the Aligis Studios as you will have a wonderful holiday.
Thank you all Marie ,Richard & Ken & Kath .
