Nice location and nice hotel

We stayed two nights in a room on the first floor (without swimming pool). They are two cottages with single rooms each, two with swimming pool, and ample parking spaces. You are within five minutes in the Vasiliki where many restaurants can be found. Hotel is located in a very quiet area and in the evening when you sit on the balcony you can hear the frogs and dance the fireflies through the trees and bushes. The room is big and clean, the bed sleeps fine. Breakfast is hung on a hook in front of the door in the morning so the cats don’t run away with it. You will be received by the friendly owner. A highly recommendable place!

Quiet location n nature

The location of the villas is good – quiet, surrounded by wild nature. Vasiliki is about 3 km or about 30 minutes on foot. Ideal if you want to live a bit away from home but still be quick in the place.
Unfortunately, at night the neighbouring dogs often bark, which is quite annoying. The landlord can't help it, but you should know. Two large dogs regularly run free, jump on visitors and drool – rather unpleasant for children.
We had a room on the 1st floor. Floor without pool. It was sufficiently large for two adults and one child (5 years). The kitchen was functionally equipped, but the furniture was already a bit old overall.
Breakfast was brought, but usually only around 9:00–9:30 – much too late if you want to start early. You had to prepare coffee yourself, omelets and pancakes were unfortunately mostly cold. Overall, however, sufficient, if a bit hearty. There was no yogurt or cereal.
The landlords are friendly, but communication does not always work well – messages are often responded to late or not at all. On arrival, the bed linen was dirty by a cat, but was quickly replaced.
Conclusion:
Vasiliki is a very good starting point for excursions on the island. The accommodation has potential, but needs a little more care and organization. For guests looking for peace and quiet and accepting small cuts, nevertheless okay.

The best stay in Lefkada

Surrounded by greenery not far from Wassiliki, this house is really special. There are vegetable gardens, fruit trees and several rooms with various types, some with swimming pool. They are very clean and with all amenities. The owners are very kind and affectionate .. really unique .. thanks

Such a wonderful place to book.

I am a return guest(four times now) and wish to thank the owners for their hard work in making their place wonderful. Such a relaxing and pleasant stay with very clean and well kept rooms and facilities. The location is quite close to the main village of Vasiliki but giving the guests a very secluded feeling of serenity. They serve a very large filling breakfast each day with all homemade treats. Any requests or needs are answered and fulfilled immediately. Your private swimming pools, if you chose, are also clean, refreshing, and inviting. So give yourselves a wonderful treat and book at the Il Viaggio Verde.

Fabulous

We were in a villa with a swimming pool for exclusive use, everything was very nice and welcoming a stone's throw from Vasiliki.
The owners were very kind and helpful in our every request.
An experience to definitely repeat!!!
