Amazing beach resort

I chose this hotel through trip advisor and checked in on the 3rd of July 2022. Stayed there for 4 days and left with the greatest impressions. The room was very clean and and had perfect view of the bay area. The staff were accommodating and did the best they could. The beach is 5 steps away from the hotel entrance. Would definitely visit again next year!

Be aware : your reservation may not be honoured !

What I am going to narrate occurred in the first semester of 2022, but I think that the appropriate time to advise prospective travellers is now, for their 2023 reservations. We had reserved well in advance rooms for our summer holiday, namely as early as February 2022, when the war in Ukraine had just begun, there was uncertainty for the future and prices were necessarily low ; we are experienced travellers and we well indicated the dates (mid-July) and the specific rooms of our reservation (100 euros/room). When the time approached, we had our ferry tickets issued and we wanted to confirm once more our reservation, things seemed to have changed : breakfast was not included and neither the dates nor the rooms were exactly what we had booked…. Of course, the owner alleged the contrary, but she was not unhappy to see us obliged to renounce to our holiday, since the prices had more than doubled and the people who replaced us had to pay approx.250 euros. I do not insinuate that she deliberately orchestrated the whole thing, but let me finish this comment by repeating that, if you want to avoid bad surprises, you need to keep confirming all the details of your reservation….

Beach front hotel in need of TLC

Lovely beachfront location for this hotel but I felt the cost of the room was high for the facilities provided compared to other rooms we stayed in on our one month island hopping tour of the Western Cyclades. Fridge provided, but no welcome water or juice as we had had on other islands. Kettle provided with two cups & saucers. Two glasses provided. Room not cleaned daily and our floor became covered with dust and leaves as wind blew in from terrace. Wooden balustrade on balcony had peeling paint and no washing line provided to dry clothes.
Bed was comfortable with soft pillows which provided good nights sleep. Plenty of hot water with small bottles of shower gel provided. Hairdryer provided. We were allowed a late check out at 1pm at no cost. Little use made of outside space in grounds of hotel which could have done with sunbeds for guests use. Overall a slight disappointment from pictures on website as it appeared the outside of the hotel could do with a bit of attention.

Great location, friendly staff and wonderful view of the bay area. The beach is right across the entrance. Our room was spacious, clean and had a large balcony. We enjoyed the variety of goodies at the breakfast buffet. Would definitely visit again!

Not a place to visit

— Would NOT recommend this place —
Arrived in the evening and the room seemed nice and clean.
However, few minutes later found out that there was sh*t in the toilet, obviously from someone else, and the towels had multiple grey and yellow stains.
Reported it immediately and she seemed to care about it and the cleaner came few minutes later.
After finishing the “cleaning” she brought again new towels.
Each new towel had again stains and the toilet had still some sh*t left and the cleaner did not do her job.
Upon questioning their excuse was the following:
— From the cleaner —
1. They have one cleaner.
2. Some clients clean the wheels of their luggage with the towels.
— From the owner of the hotel —
3. They wash and dry their towels at high temp and is expected to be like this according to them.
According to them they did not have any clean towels to replace them with.
My question to them was if they would accept such a state of the towels and toilet if they were in my place and she basically mentioned that they are not able to replace the existing towels.
— At an island where it’s considered to be high season full of tourists —
For what’s included
1. Cleaning awful
2. Management poor
3. Price that comes with everything too much
4. Way better options elsewhere with breakfast, swimming pools than having to deal with such a situation on your holidays.

Hello Mr. Konstantinos M,
It appears that you have either mistakenly reviewed the wrong hotel, or purposefully faking a review.
The aforementioned dialogues that you claim occurred have never happened at our site. Neither the cleaning personnel nor the owners have ever had such a specific conversation with so much detail with anyone - ever.
We do not have one maid, as you claim.
We do not wash with the process you claim we do.
We do not have our guests “clean the wheels of their luggage with our towels” - which is a very bizzare claim to make, who does that?
There is always a fresh supply of towels, contrary to your claims, as due to Covid we have tripled our available linens.
You have not stayed or paid at our hotel and thus claiming that the prices are high without being on site is a blatant lie.
Lastly, with your last statement which is directly promoting other businesses nearby that are “cheaper” and have “pools,” it is evident that you are possibly a competitor.
After getting in touch with TripAdvisor and according to our logistic records, no invoice with your name has ever been issued in the last 5 years.
Uploading a close-up picture of a random toilet is not proof of stay.
