Hotel has been well maintained. Staff has been extremely helpful and made sure we were well looked after.

Horrible hotel - Avoid at all costs.

This hotel is in top 3 over the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel is basically 0.1 star above an ultra low budget hostel in South American. The only two positive thing about the hotel are that the staff is actually very friendly and the area is pretty good.
My room was tiny and really bad - not dirty, just really bad. All interior such as doors, floors, toilet, windows, sink, bed etc. should have been thrown out after they were warn out, 80 years ago.
Sleeping is very difficult because there is so much noice from the air conditioner/heat pump and from the other rooms and from the toilets on the hall way (perhaps some of the rooms does not have private bath room?).
On top of the bad rooms and the noice, the biggest issues was that the room was full of mosquitoes. During the night i killed more than 30 big fat ones.
Only reason I didnt move was that the only good hotel in the area was fully booked. But after the first night I was able to get another room, which was just as poor but with less mosquitoes.

Timio-Clean-Egyptian staff

Clean, careful, good breakfast, cheap. Old though, but pure. With very polite staff. In the bath always warm water, with clean daily towels, as well as sheets etc. What to say... perfect! Except that in my room (No 9) the socket was far from my dormitory (I don't get a star for it :) ).
And that's all about the old wing. The new, renovated is much better!
