3 lovely days in Chania

We spend 3 perfect days in Chania with my girlfriend and stayed in Pension Eva. Amazing mattresses, the best sleep ever!! Nice old style decoration with all modern amenities. We totally loved the place and the people..looking forward to going back next year!!!

H & D Winter Travellers

An experience of Cretan hospitality ,
our maisonette room ( very tastefully decorated) was perfect to the last detail, very comfortable mattress and pillows, two TV’s (Satellite) fast WiFi a full equipped kitchenette , nice lounge.
Located to the centre of the old city, (but very quiet) close to the Historical Port with the cosy restaurants and bars.
The owner (Yianni) was very gentle and helpful.
He gave us maps, instructions and recommendations to go around and enjoy our stay at the most !
We definitely recommend this pension,
when you visit Chania

PS
Don’t forget to visit the boutique
on the ground floor, the sell some very nice hand picked jewellery and objects for Her, Him and the House .

Owner was ridiculously rude and did not want to fix the window.

We checked in, paid, went to the room (it was very small, much smaller then the pictures reveal) and saw that the window above he bed (the only window in the room) had a broken mosquito net.
we went down tot he reception to ask if they could fix the problem, and the owner of the establishment said to me that they can not fix it at this hour and that he doesn't have any solution for my problem. I asked him what does he except us to do if we want to have the window open in a small and stuffy room. he said "if you don't like it then you can leave".
as he said that i went upstairs took my things and left.
The owner of the establishment basically told me to 'F' off, while he sat with his back towards me smoking a cigarette, not once getting up to talk to me, not once trying to comfort me or think of a solution, not once offering any regret or compassion to the problem and the whole time acting aloof, rude and not like an owner of a hospitality establishment.
I would recommend looking elsewhere, the place itself is fine, get what you pay for, nothing special, but the vibe of the owner is felt right away, cold, unaccommodating and rude.

Hello there!! This review is for a different place, not Pension Eva in the old town of Chania!!!!!
AlonNH, please confirm the above and connect your review with the correct Hotel or just delete it, we do not treat our customers this way not do we have mosquito nets in any of our rooms and no one of us smoke!!!!!!
Please do not ignore my comment, this is a terrible review and Pension Eva does not deserve this..
Contact me if necessary (info@eva-pension.gr)
Thank you!
