An excellent find one block away from the waterfront and its popular restaurants.

We arrived on a ferry without reservations and asked for a recommendation at a restaurant. We were directed to Nikos Rooms across the street and were immediately offered a room at a very agreeable price. The room was well-appointed, clean and secure. The bathroom was modern and spotless. there was a clothesline on the balcony and all the regular amenities. This will be my first choice for a visit next year.

Unacceptable

We had booked this accommodation due to a wedding we were invited to in the old country. Unfortunately, 2 days before our arrival my pregnant wife tested positive for covid. This of course made it impossible for us to travel. Although we are aware of the cancellation policy, we very politely asked the accommodation not to charge us the full amount of the reservation. They told us we would see about it and since then they haven't replied. Of course they charged us the full amount. In matters of health it is good to show a little sensitivity.
