My favorite place in Kissamos
Do you want to feel pampered? Do you want a place that has an excellent location? Well, this is your place! Within walking distance it has everything you need (bakery, restaurants, supermarket) and it is 20 minutes from the fantastic Falassarna beach, 30 from Balos, and 45 from Elafonisi. They are infinitely kind and friendly, the apartment is beautiful, but above all what sets it apart is who manages everything! They are impeccable and kind; from the first day they make you feel at home! They advise you on everything you need and make available anything you might need! As soon as you arrive, you will be immediately welcomed with a nice coffee and a delicious welcome pastry, and by the friendliness of Nikh and Katepina, who will give you advice on everything! What can I say, the place is excellent for touring the eastern part of the island!

Fantastic.
I can't find words for this hotel.
Everything was perfect. From booking until we left.
From the very first minute, they made us feel like home. The ladies Katerina and Nikki are incredible how well we were treated and told us what to do every day and where to eat.
As for the room everything was perfect.Great for a family and of course all the accommodation caterin with clean towels, water and fruit in the room.
The hotel offered to offer us our towels and clothes.
I prefer it to you and I wish you to visit it too.
A big thanks to all of you for making our holiday perfect.

Like at home! Everything perfect
Very cute and very clean hotel, the stay is certainly made pleasant by the owners who are wonderful people who have the ability to make you feel welcomed and at home! Every morning, small bottles of fresh water are provided to guests for going to the beach, and at the beginning of the stay, beach towels are given with the possibility of changing them. The room where I stayed was small but comfortable, equipped with everything necessary; the food counter overlooked the small square of Kissamos and is equipped with a small drying rack. Breakfast is not provided, but right next to the hotel there is a small supermarket that also has a bar with tables outside, and it is practically like having breakfast at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone intending to stop in Kissamos (not very touristy but truly very pretty and a strategic point for the most beautiful beaches in Crete); the owners will make you feel at home, ready to welcome you with their smiles and their advice!

An excellent hotel in terms of price/performance ratio and with exceptional management
I returned after 5 years and, just like before, I had a wonderful stay.
Unfortunately, the larger studio was already booked, and I stayed in a regular room but equipped with everything needed (refrigerator, safe, air conditioning, etc.). The hotel is located on the square in front of the small archaeological museum (which I recommend visiting), and it is often possible to park outside the hotel; however, about 100 meters away, there is a large free parking lot.
The staff is exceptional and super empathetic, and I thank Katerina, Niki, and Yannis for this. If you need anything, they make an effort to advise and assist you.
The room does not include breakfast, but there is a kettle and tea/nescafé in the room, while in the hallway in the morning, you will find, in addition to a coffee machine with pods, always fresh fruit, cookies, fresh bread, packaged jams, and sometimes even a cake. You can take whatever you want and eat it at the table on the little terrace of the room. Bottled water is also always available.
The quality/price ratio is extremely good, and if I return to Kissamos, I will definitely stay at the Castell Hotel again.

Niki and all the staff were super-helpful and welcoming, without being intrusive. They kept asking if I needed anything, but everything you could expect from such a place was already there.
My room (apartment) was lovely, so nice to have a sofa and couch to sit on! And a balcony to watch over the town square.
