Very friendly and welcoming

A very nice hotel, welcomed every day with a smile from the staff. 2 room apartment booked and we liked that very well. Spacious and neat, when you want to have cleaned you hang a card on the door, you also get clean towels. Only the shower cabin is a bit cramped. Breakfast was basic but adequate. When you crave an egg, it was prepared for you.

Candia Hotel is the perfect choice if you want to stay close to the heart of Chania, yet enjoy peace and comfort. The location is excellent – just a short walk from the Old Town and the Venetian Harbor, but also quiet enough for a relaxing night’s sleep.
The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-kept, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hospitality is truly warm and welcoming – the staff are always ready to help with tips, directions, or just a friendly smile.
Great value for money, ideal both for couples and solo travelers. If you’re planning to explore Chania, Candia Hotel is definitely a place you’ll want to stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The room was 4th floor, seaside view. There were two rooms, a kitchenette, and A/C. It was clean and looked good. Beds wwre comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The items available at the desk were a lifesaver - pool and beach items, water, beer, snacks, etc.
The location is perfect - close to the main area but without the all night noise. You can get to the historic port easily and quicky walking long the ocean walk. The restaurants nearby are excellent.

Disappointing

Have stayed at the hotel before and been pleased! Now we should try the Penthouse Suite. It was a disappointment. The size was ok, big nice terrace. But very worn room. Poor cleaning, dirty sofa, dirty on lists and stains on the wall. We didn't get the beds changed (was there 5 nights).
