Quiet. Relaxing. No frills.
It is remote, but the bus passes at the top of the road for easy access to the surrounding area.
We booked a superior apartment, which was perfect for us. Twin beds up in the mezzanine and double downstairs. Good size balcony with a view of the pool and beach.
Air-conditioning was a real bonus!
Bathroom is typical of greek establishment, i.e., clean but basic. But it does the job!!!
Pools were both fab with plenty of loungers in shade or sunshine.
Buffet breakfast had plenty of choice for hot or cold dishes.
Staff very helpful and friendly. Be sure to check out their recommendations for traditional Crete restaurants and dishes!
The area feels like a traditional greek seaside, definitely not a tourist hot spot - yet!
The beach is gravelly but the sea us crystal clear and shallow, with a lifeguard on hand.

Since we got the trip at a discount, it was pretty good considering that! If you don't mind luxus, this is good hotel.
- we have all inclusive and the food was...how can i say..not so good and food run out on many evenings
- Someone took my woolsocks from room and i put messeges to Aventours and write a note to reseption when we were leaving back to Finland, but nowbody answer to me, that make me very sad.
+ Pool was nice
+ There was quiet and peaceful
+ Easy to go Platanias and Hania by bus. Bus stop was about 200 meters from hotel

Beautiful structure quality price excellent
- NEGATIVE opinion that affected the vote 4 instead of 5, are reception time until 16:30, breakfast is international for us a little 'poor from Italians (not very sweet... even two mornings no honey and yogurt! I go crazy) but you don't starve, The beach is pebble and quite rough poorly equipped when we stayed

Below standard
The worst part about the holiday was the food. Myself and partner struggled to find anything we liked and survived off the sausages (hot dogs), bread and croissants. The coffee was terrible and served from a machine from the 90s. We went to the local taverna or to other restaurants most evenings for meals, which was lovely.
The cleaning staff were lovely. Always smiling and the room was cleaned to a good standard.
We hired a car whilst we were there and the staff member at reception was a great help in arranging this. He also advised us on the best way to Chania and on bus times.
The pool area was lovely and we enjoyed spending a few days sunbathing.
Overall, I would not return to this hotel and feel the standards were lower than expected for the price we paid. With some renovation to the rooms and an overhaul of the menu/buffet, I feel it would be much better.
