Top for holidays and recreation
We stayed 16 times in the Angerresidenz in the last 30 years and we felt very comfortable in our apartment furnished in modern country style, as always. The west-facing balcony is perfect for sunbathing or a beer garden feeling when the weather is nice.
The team there is very friendly and devoted and always approachable. In Zwiesel, many restaurants with good food, e.g. Dampfbräu am Stadtplatz, can be reached on foot and in the region there are many opportunities for activities.
(e.g. treetop path, animal enclosures, glassworks, etc.)

Beautiful holiday accommodation
We have been coming here annually for many years and are still thrilled with the great accommodation, the sumptuous breakfast and the lovely and very friendly care of the service staff.
We enjoy the beautiful terrace overlooking the park and the River Regen.
Nature is easy to enjoy from here, the apartments have the coziness of a holiday apartment and the service advantages of a hotel.
Overall always an experience, we were definitely not the last time here!

A spacious and clean one bedroom suite right in the town centre but facing a quiet private park.
My wife and I stayed for 9 nights in this delightful and professionally managed hotel.
We occupied Apartment E1 on the ground floor. It consists of an entrance vestibule with a separate inner door leading to the open plan kitchen and sitting room. A separate bedroom was to the rear, the bathroom with a spacious shower stall on the side and a little patio with two garden chairs and tables to the front, facing the large garden and river.
All the facilities were very clean and fully stocked with glass ware, crockeries, cutleries and cooking pots as well as a small dish washing machine, electric kettle, filter coffee machine, toaster and two ring electric counter top cooking range and fridge.
The owner also provided some basic condiments like salt and pepper and sugar as well as dish washing liquid.
The apartment was tastefullly furnished with solid wood furniture consisting of a dining table for 4, pull out settee and leather easy chair, armoir and shelves. The bedroom had a big wardrobe and very comfortable beds and bedding. There is plenty of storage space. There was a big screen TV with plenty of German and English language channels in the sitting room, a digital radio in the bedroom and small stereo system in the sitting room.
We rented the unit as a “Ferienwohnung” or holiday apartment without cleaning service and breakfast and did not use any of the leisure facilities in the basement. The under floor heating was very efficient and kept the apartment cosily warm in late October when temperatures dropped as low as 3C during the night.
We very much enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending the Anger Residenz. We would definitely return.

Who does not heat a hotel in mid-September....that says a lot
Apartment simple and simply cold, the bathroom through the tile floor even colder. Refrigerator too small, sofa sat through and really bright it is nowhere. Terrifying the room temperatures in mid-September. Then a fan heater is put in the room as a solution........

After a general overhaul, possibly recommended
A big praise for Mrs. Hartl, she keeps it all together body and soul.
It was quiet, the beds pleasant. Breakfast was, according to the price, sufficient and fine. Special requests were fulfilled.
Nicely located (park/river)
Overall cleanliness ok.
However, the carpets would absolutely need cleaning.
Flatscreen TV: yes available, but COMPLETE without the ARD programs. Statement on this: would be in progress
“Sofa bed”: totally noodled through
Armchair: sat through
After the first shower, bath was under water.
Toilet lid loose and too small.
Furnishings generally come of age
