Great hotel with helpful staff

We were 8 women travelling together. The hotel was immaculately clean with new beds and bedding, it was very comfortable. The hotel staff could not do enough for us. One of the party celebrated a birthday during the trip. We have pre-ordered a cake who let us down and charged a fortune. The cake was delivered a day late. The hotel staff took me in his car to a large supermarket to buy a replacement cake. All the advice given was great and they really helped us get the most out of our stay. We would definitely return and recommend to anyone,

Friendly and comfy

I stayed almost three weeks in this lovely and friendly hotel. The situation is great because there is a wonderful park just next to the hotel, so I was able to run and enjoy nice view over the towns from the hills. There is a botanical garden near by too. The monorail station is also near and takes you easily to bigger town centres and e.g. to Schwimmoper, which is a sauna and swimming place in the centre.
Service at the hotel is excellent. My room was perfect for me - a bit small but I did not mind. Breakfast is good, and I like that there is smaller selection waiting for you at the buffet, but you can ask for more. That way things are very fresh and nice.
Atmosphere was very very nice and friendly and made me feel the most home than ever in a hotel.

Nice,sweet hotel.

Little, comfort and peaceful hotel in a quiet street. Friendly receptionist,free wifi and tasty breakfast included:)
A bit far away from the city center but about 20 min walking is'nt too much. Also a couple of blocks away is local public transport station, Schwebebahn takes you trough the city above the river;) Clean and quiet room. Money well spent.

Fairly good

it was 2005 i visited Wuppertal. The front Hotel simple and elegant. The room clean, and make me like at home and the room service doing job the during my absent. The breakfast is good. I really missing the simple back view. Nice hotel, lovely city.

Fairly good value for money

I ended up there by chance as our hotel in Wuppertal was booked for the wrong dates and the Also Hotel seemed to be the only one with availabilities in the area.
Initially it seemed a bit unusual as there was no receptionist working that night and we had to follow as set of instructions to gain access to our rooms.
The rooms are fairly basic but clean. The beds aren't very confortable but for the price (paid 49 euro/night) you can't really complain. Breakfast was good.
