True five stars!
Everything here is truly fantastic! The check-in was friendly and efficient, the suite cozy and modern, with a very good bed. The spa area is beautiful with the magnificent pool in the canal overlooking the VW power plant. Daniela is warm and attentive and makes the visit there a unique experience! The staff is also incredibly friendly everywhere else. The breakfast is perfect, the selection and quality are outstanding. At check-in, I learned that the lounge and high tea are only available on weekends. This must have been passed on, as I received a small selection of the high tea in a small cooler bag from the manager upon departure. That is 5 stars! By the way, you receive 2 days of free access to the Autostadt. With a reservation, you can walk through it when coming from the train station, which significantly shortens the route. Just stop by the ticket counter briefly. But back to the hotel - a recommendation or drawbacks.

Fabulous Hotel
Hotel was great. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Accommodated my request for a factory view room without any problems. The only problem I found with the hotel was that the drain in the bathroom sink wasn’t working. You had to hold it in order for the water to drain properly. This isn’t something i expected from a 5 star establishment. I should have brought this to their attention when I discovered the problem however I didn’t want the hassle of having to change rooms or something like that. I also requested 2 extra pillows and milk for the coffee machine. I was disappointed as it took almost an hour for them to reach my room. But on the other hand the stay was great and they recognised my birthday and my parents anniversary with a cake to celebrate.

Stylish and pleasant
A stylish and well maintained house.
Throughout, the staff are courteous and eager to ensure a pleasant stay for the guest.
The room is large and stylishly decorated, especially the very spacious bathroom is excellent.
Some small signs of wear, e.g. chipped corners on furniture, can be found and should be repaired so that the overall impression is not influenced by small things.
In the Executive Lounge, the stay is relaxed and very quiet. The choice of food and drinks is excellent and special requests are gladly implemented.
Only the access is sometimes arduous, as the card reader at the door reacts somewhat arduously.
Throughout, dad Ritz offers a wonderful stay.

Nice Hotel, No VW Theme, Poor A/C
The facility is very nice. The staff is amazing. It was our 25 year wedding anniversary and we met in a Volkswagen club so we wanted to stay on VW property at the Ritz. We were surprised that the hotel didn't have one single mention of VW. No pictures, no art, nothing. We expected it to be VW themed. Other hotels are better if you're looking for a VW theme. Additionally, there was a heat wave and the a/c was simply inadequate. I expected a better a/c. It kept the room around 25 even though it was set to 18. This is typical of German hotels, but I expected more from the Ritz.
