A surprisingly good experience

We turned up on a last minute booking. The proprietors are a Vietnamese family, I think. They were charming, and we muddled through with my inadequate German, their inadequate German, and their sort of English. Confusion arose because in UK we don't have the same type of post code as is used in Germany, but that got sorted.
The room was a good size, with the bed in a custom setting canti corner in the room, but oh, very comfortable. Everything was clean, and tidy, and a pair of slip on plastic slippers provided in the room ( though we did not use them). The view from the room, between houses, was rather lovely, and I enjoyed the house martens swooping past early in the morning.
We also enjoyed an evening meal there, there were very few people in the restaurant, but the food was good. I was concerned it might be very spicy, but that was not the case, just really tasty, and the green tea was good.

Very good Asian fix for this secluded area

This is a review of the restaurant.
We had passed by this restaurant en route elsewhere and decided immediately to try it after our activity. Because it is the only Asian restaurant in this area.
So, you need to have your expectations adjusted.
This restaurant serves Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese cuisine. Common sense will tell one that if a place can serve so many types of cuisine, it can’t be particularly good in anything. But again, remember, expectations for a place like this….
We had several rice and rice noodle dishes. I would say they are quite tastefully done. Chinese tea is nice.
Don’t hesitate to pop by for your Asian fix if you crave for one!!

GENIAL !!!!

ICH WAR IM HANOI HOTEL ,AM 17. u. 18 OKT. 2024 UND WAR SEHR ZUFRIEDEN.
DIE FAMILIE WAR SEHR NETT UND HILFSBEREIT.
DAS CURRY WAS ICH AN 2 TAGEN GEGESSEN HABE WAR EINFACH GENIAL!!!
SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT WÜRDE IMMER WIEDERKOMMEN!!!
