Congresshotel Weimar 5/2026
had a voucher from My Days and could be purchased for 99 € incl. Breakfast overnight. Room very spacious, clean, bathrobe, slippers, 1 bottle of mineral water and Nespresso free. Breakfast was very rich. Parking cost 5 €/day. Gives sauna and swimming pool.

Not welcoming, poorly designed and managed
This hotel was arranged by Leger as part of a Leger coach tour visiting Germany. The coach struggled to get to the main door due to tight curves. No porters to assist with luggage, despite calls from leger staff reporting exactly when we would arrive. Leger staff checked us in and assisted. Very little interaction with hotel staff, as none around, so can't comment on their attitude.
A Buffet meal was arranged for our late arrival which was nice (but at an extra cost). No other choice as the location of the hotel is quite remote. However, salad starter was ok, main meal was really nice, but dessert was an angel delight in strawberry or chocolate flavours with some left over breakfast fruit. One coffee machine out of order, and an urn with warm water which was not hot enough for tea, and too warm as a drink. Water on the dining table was not free, but we were changed another 5 euros for the privilege.
Our room was decent size, but very basic and dated. Far too warm, no air con, and no fan with awful plastic incontinence bedding as an under sheet which made for a very poor nights sleep. No extra pillows, or bedding in the room, and no room phone. Sockets were awkwardly placed for charging or connecting. The shower over the bath was just about passable but we had no shower / hand gel in the room.
We were hoping for a decent breakfast, but were again disappointed with a fantastic range of salad items, mini chicken hot dog style sausages, no bacon, no tomatoes, no mushrooms, no hash browns etc etc etc. but there was some cake.... glad we only stayed one night - do hope that leger drop this hotel. Not welcoming for British tourists. perhaps that's the idea !

The pool was not open. No playroom open! No air condition functioning! All these where the criteria why we choosecthe hotel! We will never go back feel that we were fooned totally! Hotels.com should dumb this hotel at once!

Improvement necessary.
Nice location, renovated room, easily accessible by bus.
Unfortunately, no information was given before arrival that the swimming pool and air conditioning were not working. An absolute no-go at well over 30 degrees. The room did have the fixture for a refrigerator, but it was also missing.
The room was not cleaned for the entire four days, the trash cans were not emptied, especially in these temperatures.

Very spartan!
The hotel is currently being renovated; during this time, it should remain closed! No air conditioning, no toilet ventilation, limited restaurant offerings! Freshly renovated rooms: no refrigerator (although advertised), only 4 hangers, no wardrobe, just an open shelf, only two towel hooks in the bathroom, broken lamps, dirty floor (no wonder if cleaned only upon request). Staff was rather unfriendly!
