Christmas vacation with friends, without children

Great vacation between Christmas and New Year's 2025 with two couples, without children. Experienced a different kind of Christmas, with great leisure activities like the swimming pool, wellness, and Christmas market. Culinary-wise, nothing was missing either. We would come back anytime.

Terrible kitchen and bad design in the apartment Impossible to find a parking space

Experienced the worst kitchen ever in the 50 years I have rented a holiday apartment in many different countries. For example, the entrance door slams into the kitchen cabinet doors if the door is half open when the door opens. The two hobs cannot be used simultaneously with both a pan and a pot, because the distance between the plates is too small. The sink is also too small, it is almost unusable, as you cannot put plates in it, you have to hold plates at a 45-degree angle individually. And the parking is grotesquely bad/lacking, you can easily spend half an hour circling around before you give up, and you have to drive about 1 km away, into a forest, to park. The balcony is life-threatening, as the railing is only one and a half meters high. Children fall out easily. And the balcony is only a little over half a meter wide, so difficult to get past each other when sitting on folding chairs. There clearly hasn't been an architect involved in the planning, construction, and repair of the buildings. Even if you order several months in advance, you are NOT told that the purchase for the bathroom is not included, yet another bad service. When we book 2 apartments - at the same time - you should get the apartments close to each other, 2 different buildings on the 3rd floor, grotesque.
We first experienced thorough German case handling when we had to pay even more to get into the bathroom. This bathhouse can strongly be advised against visiting

Nice stay, good apartment

We were back at the Weissenhäuser Strand holiday park again during the Easter holidays. We especially liked the still quite empty beach, the promenade, and the well-equipped vacation apartment.

Great family vacation

We had a fantastic time as a family. The resort is incredibly versatile, absolutely child-friendly, and leaves nothing to be desired.
We were particularly thrilled by the great location right on the beautiful Baltic Sea and the leisure activities, which delighted both young and old alike.

Dirty and unpleasant staff.

Dirty apartment, had to start by removing the dishwasher. Very unpleasant staff in the Italian restaurant us Swedish they ignored and gave Germans tables that came after us.
