Heerlijk ontspannen

We weree looking for a nice rural hotel in the vicinity of Bonn.
This ticks all the boxes. Quiet village, good german quality and very friendly. A good german cooking with honest portions ( We were there in the Asparagus season.. fantastic)
Good rooms on the garden side with a lot of space and a real balconny. These rooms are very suitable for longer stay

I can only agree with the bad reviews here and confirm them. Never again! How this house could get a "very good" rating is more than laughable. Very unfriendly landlady, you feel like an annoying louse. No warm welcome, nothing.

Coach Trip.

3 night trip, arrived late Friday night and left very early Monday morning.
Check in a bit chaotic as the hotel had provided a hot buffet for the the coach passengers and wanted us to go and eat straight away, presumably then the kitchen could close and the staff finish their shift.
Rooms more than adequate but lacking a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
Had read previous comments so took them along with a Hairdryer but one was supplied in the bathroom.
Beds clean and comfortable, room nice and warm, towels soft and smelt clean and fresh.
Bar small but very welcoming with prices very reasonable
For me the only real complaint was the food, lukewarm at best and ran out of things before everyone had eaten, so if you were at the back of the queue choice could be limited, unfair when you have all paid the same, as the saying goes... Once it’s gone, it’s gone !!
Choice also limited and I have to say not very tasty
Overall a decent stay, but probably wouldn’t go back.

Coach Holiday Stay

We stayed here on a 3 night break for the Christmas markets. It was clean and nicely presented. The bar is welcoming and reasonably priced.
Our maim issue was the food, it was awful, quite inedible and we ended up bringing in sandwiches to eat in our room.
The majority of the staff were lovely but the hotel manager/owner could seriously do with a course in customer service

Fine

Nice hotel with a decent double room, separate twin beds that can be pushed together if needed. Pity they don't supply free toiletries soaps hairdryer. The local phone book in the room was slightly out of date .... 2010 which was almost in perfect condition
