Our regular hotel in the Harz – always happy to return.
What keeps drawing us back here is also the atmosphere: The owners come from Thale, know the region like the back of their hand, and you can tell that they truly care about the hotel. There is also a newer chain hotel alternative in town – quite stylish and modern – but there, the check-in now takes place completely without a reception. For some, this is certainly practical; for us, it just feels a bit soulless. The personal reception and genuine interest in the guest make the difference at the Mythenresort.
The dinner at "fewur" has convinced us every time – we simply cannot understand the few negative reviews, as you can perhaps judge for yourself from our photos.
Ending the evening on the rooftop terrace of the MythenBar with a view of the Hexentanzplatz has become a must for us.
If you like the Harz, you are exactly right here. We will come back.

Arrive, feel comfortable, enjoy
The breakfast was varied, fresh, and of excellent quality. The entire property was also well-maintained and designed with great attention to detail. We were particularly impressed by the warm hospitality – every staff member was dedicated and helpful.
We would book this hotel again at any time and can recommend it without reservation. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay!

For breakfast we had frozen rolls.
