We were here as a stopover. Nice hotel, clean, and easy parking just in front. Restaurant is also very nice. Would stay here again.

Feel good

We have been coming here again and again for several years and always feel very comfortable here. This is partly due to the warm atmosphere and the above-average lovingly maintained outdoor area, the very clean and stylishly cosy indoor area, both in the rooms and the entire guest areas.
For tall people, the spacious shower (rooms 11-14) is advantageous.
Family Trau is always available for requests.
The house is family-run and is supported by very friendly and attentive staff.
Although we only about 2 hours Having access, it therefore always leads us here to relax and come down.
The location is pleasantly quiet, about 1 hour each. Drive to Hamburg or Bremen. The surrounding area offers plenty of space for walks or bike rides.
Of particular note is the regional cuisine. The food is always hot and offers many culinary delights.
Overall highly recommended.

Nice hotel.Good quiet location.lovely grounds.
Missed the little extra you would expect with this 'class' hotel,eg coffee,tea availability.nothing available in the room and otherwise not open to buy until 5.30pm.
Advertised on hotels.com ...'spa access' .The 'spa' was simply a sauna and you had to ask if you planned to use it, so as they could switch it on😉

Lovely stopover on the way home. Charming hotel with great service. We arrived late but were very well received. Clean and fresh rooms. A bit warm in the summer. An electric fan would have been nice. The village is truly charming and made for a quiet and relaxing visit.

Good hotel

Super fresh room with large bathroom. Candy on the pillow. Small downside was that it was a hard bed.
Good parking. Easy to find the hotel. The restaurant in the house was good, not top class but good.
Much in the hotel was newly renovated and lavish. Excellent breakfast with eggs and bacon.
