Newly opened in 2014, this hotel in the Bavarian countryside is just a 30-minute drive from Munich and Ingolstadt. Free parking and free WiFi are available at the Hotel Straßhof.

There was a nice little playground, trampoline and giant chess set for the kids.
Overall it was great quality. The only downside is as the breakfast which felt really overpriced for what it offered.

Hotel inn good, service better select.
But this stay will remain a very bad memory for us.
Why? The evening at the restaurant was an experience of the most negative kind.
The reason was an older Bavarian waitress (short grey hair) who
in the presence of our Bavarian friends their hatred of the so-called "Prussians"
has announced.
Even our guests were extremely amazed and surprised that such a thing still exists. Especially since we have lived in Wolnzach for many years, but no
speak Bavarian dialect.
The problem, however, was not only this lady, but rather the entire tense situation that evening. Don't let that happen.
I guess this lady didn't like that.

It is definitely out of the way, you need a car. We paid between 15-20 euro each way for a cab to the train station or town.
The rooms are warm, no a/c and if we left patio door open, we got mosquitoes (and a couple wasps). BUT the rooms are lovely!
Breakfast was good, you had to pre book it. A little on the pricey side especially if you weren’t overly hungry, you still paid the 15 euro. One morning my husband had only coffee and one egg, but everything was fresh, amazing scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and breads. It was good for sure, if you were hungry.
We did miss the convenience of having a coffee maker and fridge in our room, especially staying for a week, just 2 coffee in the morning if we skipped breakfast was almost 7 euro.
We have no regrets booking this place just should have done a little more research.
